I finally watched this video all the way through. If anyone out there wants the real specs of this amp, just ask me. I've been playing one for a while now (head version) and it rocks. This assclown gave all kinds of wrong info on the amp. Reverb is NOT tube driven. 6L6 power tubes, NOT 6V6 as stated here. He incorrectly called the damping controls "texture" which you can see on the back of the amp. That's just scratching the surface of all the misinformation he gives in this video. Assclown.

i think it was a good review in that he tried to cover alot of the features and abilities of the amp....the resonance control would be more noticeable if you turn the volume up so the speaker is actually moving a good bit. I wish we could have heard what the clean channel does at much higher volume and also heard the gain channel from minimum gain to maximum gain and how the boost compares to all those gain settings.

i played through this amp with a les paul and it sounded fucking terrible especially the overdrive channel, i spose the tubes could've gone but I've played through busted tubes before and it didn't sound that bad. Seriosuly i urge people not to buy this amp. If you want a good cheap valve amp checkout either the Bugeras or the Laney VC's both are amazing for the money

Crate is terrible. get a peavey. But to answer your question, you dont need to go loud at all, If YOU can hear it, so can everyone else. And if they cant, you need a PA system, in which case, even a 30w amp would suffice
