Hi, Should I go with a 2" or a 1 1/2" ? I have naturally curly hair that is more than half way down my back. It holds curl very well. I don't like really straight hair on me, but more the Kim K. look with beautiful loose shiny waves. I also have hair with a ton of body, but not necessarily that thick of hair if that makes sense. Thanks for any advice. Thank you!
thanks so much! you helped me alot with this video, I want to buy a curling iron for my sister and I had no freaking idea which would be the best, and now I know! :D I'm picking the huge one, she has long hair, so loosy curls will look great on her :)
I love your hair color. Can you tell me how to duplicate it? Shades used, methods, etc.. Also, what is the difference in effect between the graduated size irons and the one size? I'd like to see how the curl looks from each...Thanks!
i already have a 1 1/4 inch curling iron and like the curl it gives me but sometimes the curls are still a little too tight. would it be worth it to buy a 1 1/2 inch curling iron? do you think i'd get a noticeably bigger curl? they also had a 1 3/4 inch one but that just seemed huge. btw my hair is long and straight. what do you think?
I think you make a really good point about the need to practice and not just try to do things 2 hours before a big event. We're an impatient bunch these days.
I also have the curling wand the last one you used and you get much tighter curls (that stay in for longer) when you take a small section of hair not a massive section.
Thank you so much for your video it helped me a lot! now I have found my favourite the Karmin Salon Pro Clipless Tourmaline Curling Iron works perfect with my hair.
Hi ablondee, it really just depends on what kind of curl you are trying to achieve and what type you feel more comfortable using. The benefit of a clamp iron is that you don't have to hold the tip of your hair with your fingers and that can be a little scary with a clampless iron but I personally like the curl that you get with a clampless.
It ends up looking a little more natural and it is very easy to create many different size and texture curl with a clampless, for instance you can wrap it all around the small tapered end for a corkscrew type curl or you can take a big section and get a really soft wave. It would be great if you could get a few cheep irons of different size and types if you can.
I highly reccomend ConAir from Target. I have purchased many styling tools from them and I am always happy with the quality and how affordable they are! Thanks for the comment and let me know if you have any other questions!
