A glorious Christmas surprise to find this lovely variation of what I saw in 23 Raymonda performances in the 80's over two years. I love the Kirov but Nureyev's Raymonda with its substantial variations is at the same level of divine excellence. Is it possible to buy a higher resolution video of the complete Nureyev Raymonda? In the Dancer's Dream series sublime sequences, some with Fanny Gaida to die for, are cut off with narration.
On y fait pas toujours attention mais dans ce début de Raymonda on voit vraiment que le corps de ballet est vraiment remarquable!!! Tout est magnifique: la chorégraphie bien sur,mais aussi la propreté de leurs pas,en passant par les costumes...
