The Iphone and other IOS devices is good if you will only keep it for 2-3 years . To be fair, it is nice to watch flash on phone. But every icon on windows mobile needed to be pressed 5 times or so to work. Windows mobile is very slow as well. I have toshiba tg01 and compared to iphone, it is very slow. And you cannot standby the phone when listening to music on windows mobile. It still sucks

Iphone has no flash player for a reason.

Flash player is absolutely outdated and slow. Even fast computers take a lot of cpu when playing flash, more than intended. Check out the news and you would have found out apple has an alternative for flash player that will soon be used a lot, becasue it works faster, has a higher quality and it doesnt slow the system down too much

Hulu is corporate sponsored by major networks. Their idea is to get a new generation of ppl uninterested in TV thinking about their PC as the entertainment source and as a marketing revenue stream (more ads). Although free now, they plan to soon require an account login and then it will be a pay service. Mobile devices don't fit into this plan because they can't enforce client-side authentication they will eventually need- and the 3G networks can't yet handle lots of video streaming.

Get you're facts straight. iPhone (as of now) can only view files in it's h.264 format, not any flash files. I believe the iPhone is totally capable of getting a flash player and if you say "why wait?" well you must also keep in mind how long winmo has been around. That being said, if the iPhone gets flash, it will be a lot slicker, knowing apple.

While I agree with you on some of your points, I think you're grossly oversimplifying the iPhone and apple's stance on phones.

Apple in no way is trying to create a business smartphone to compete with windows mobile. What they've done is created a not-so-dumb phone with mass appeal. Not to mention that its easier to use than WinMo for the general uninformed public.

iPhones outsell windows mobile devices at this point, you can't deny the numbers.
