when i plug it into the pc it says charging and then fully charged, battery is 100% but when i press the turn on button it doesnt turn on, i have tried resetting it by sliding the hold button and pressing on and user buttons at the same time, still doesnt turn on

Hey i got a DISPLAY PROBLEM with this mp3 Player.. The Display Is Dead.. like when i turn it on the music plays normally the buttons work and also the LED light except the display which looks like its turned off when its actually on.. so i cant see the menu at all when its playing..dont know what to do..i was thinkin bout dissassembling it but i dont know anything bout fixin these stuff, anyone experienced this problem PLZ let me know how to fix it

but on windows media player

when i plug in my mp3 it shows up but it says no files but i have files on it and i cant sync or remove coz i cant see my files

CHECK IF u have win media player 10 or 11.. then try to update the player's driver.. while the player is plugged to pc go to " control panel > system > hardware > device manager > portable devices > right click on samsung yp-u3 properties > driver tab > update driver ..maybe that will do it..

This is probably the world's worst MP3 player. The sound quality was poor and noisy, kind of like an old cassette-tape player. The controls were difficult to use, and it required some crappy software to put music on it... and this crappy software would only run on windows xp or vista, so I couldn't use this with my Windows 2000 computer, or my Mac.

FINALY I FIGURED IT OUT!!!

Well all you do is go on to windows media player and make a normal playlist, then drag the playlist (which will be on the far left side column in to the mp3 player column on the far right side( dont copy the songs seperately, drag the title of playlist needs to be copied).

My main grievance with this player is I like to be able to shuffle my songs, but also be able to click "back" if I've skipped over a song I like. I've found that if I skip a song and think "Oh, no, wait, I want to listen to that one", and I click "back", it goes to a completely new song. Does anybody know if there's any way around this? I had a previous generation Samsung MP3 player a year ago (the pendant model) and it was utterly simple to get back to a skipped song.
