  • Love the last comment... so many people think the only way to do things is with specialized tools. Well before those tools were made this was the method! I am in the midst of attempting to split an older xl250 case which splits like a 2-stroke. Great video!

  • @barfass I agree, but if you're working on motorcycles often it is nice to have all the right tools so you can spend the majority of your time focusing on fixing it. It isn't always this easy to split.

  • looks like a good way to cause an oil leak between the case halves. a case splitter is like $60...
