If you believe in The Bill Of Rights you have nothing to fear. Our freedom has survived slavery, a civil war, internment camps and limits on free speech during WWII. The United States is far too wealthy and prosperous to fall into the same trap the Germans fell into with Hitler.
Perhaps you should consider comparing the Enabling Act and the Patriot Act and look at how similar they are. We are not the most wealthy , but the most indebted country in the world. Take a look at Rex 84 and consider how dissent was then, much like now, viewed as treason. Again, the question is "Who are the real fascists?" We need to ask the questions pertaining to the funding of Hitler and why Prescott Bush in 1951 was indicted under the Trading with the Enemy Act and had assets seized.
