ived been playing mechwarrior 2, it was my first game when i was 4! and i remember i used to treat the mechs like living pets XDDD, bad since i was born ived loved Mad Cat and Timber Wolf

hell yea mw4 sucked i loved the hell out of mw3 kinda pissed me off when they went backwards on the game after making such an awesome one (mw3)

mw4 didnt suck, it nerfed a not of what people were doing in MW3

if anything MW4 bordered on more of a realistic load-out for the mech's then strapping on 16 flammers on a shadow cat and running around forcing mechs to explode. To me MW3 was fun but the overall design allowed anyone to make a one shot killing machine. MW4 just made the series more balanced in my eyes. Then again you freebirth cant stand playing within limits, always gotta have things one sided. learn to be a real mech jock

dpends on your style of mechs innersphere sure i can go with they didnt have modular equipment on them whereas clan you could load out what ever you liked on your mech. and i prefered the supernova otherwise id equip the dire wolf as a long range support but if they took the graphics of MW3 and applied it to MW4 maybe but they could have done more for it

well the supernova does make an appearance in MW4 as a mech in a mod pack. Witch btw is awsome. I perfer a Super nova over the Nova cat anyday.

To me I perfer the Stone Rhino to the Dire Wolf, if I want to go in a medium mech then a Timber Wolf have always been my favorite mechs to use, then again if I had to choose it would be the Kodiak hands down.

hmm ghost bear clan? i like them to hell if they were real id die to be apart of them. but ill give u that those are some solid mechs. why is it that such a game that is awesome they almost let die?

It did. Besides fixing the load out thing which I did like and preferred, everything from the control, the graphics, game (being unable to kill enemy mechs by blowing their legs off) was horrific. Even though I got MW4 and it's expansion packs for free thanks to Explosiv messing up the discs of another game, they gave me free copies along with a disc with patches for the game as well as Flat out, Trackmania and another game I can't remember at the moment.

A-men, Mech4 left me feeling a bit empty, I mean the story sucked and the boss levels too but the overall load outs were really well balanced. I was surprised, angry at first but surprised that they came up with good overall balance for the mechs

Wow at first I thought when the forest scenes were shown I was looking at a cut from the MW4:Vengeance opening. Wasn't until the Catapult actually went through that I realized it wasn't.

I also recognized the MW2 opening words in there ;) That game will forever remain scorched into my brain "Alpha Assault! This is Bravo Cadet! I've got bandits all over me! Get down here!" Ahhh the good old days.

Would be nice if they gave the mechs more heft though. I'd imagine a giant walking robot in the forest might stir up the leaves and trees a tad?

I think what we all fans want is something with lots of POSSIBILITIES, something that for a noobie might look simple enough, but taking a closer look you see a complete and complex walking system, with possibilities for fluidly taking cover AND shooting, possibilities for a cool and full of EVASIVE movements Mech Fight... I look forward for playin a Mech game where SKILLS actually count. I think we all want something really competitive... So good luck guys... and Keep up the awesome work!

yea, the mechs are going to be alot more fluid looking, I can promise you that!

This particular clip was done in about 2-3 days, our main animators are now working hard on a very fluid and more believable walking mech.
