Yep, admission is the first step to recovery. Here's the thing: No matter what it is that's causing her inappropriate behavior, it was poor judgment to CHOOSE to do that in public. You feel sick, you stay home; it's that simple. It is unfair to your fans and the interviewer to put them in such an awkward position.

She has many projects like jewelry making and songwriting that she can do in private. There's no need to embarrass herself and make life difficult for her publicist, interviewer and audience. Just stay home.

Parton, my sister has RSD and she has never behaved like that. Nor has anyone in her support group. All your reports come from Paula Abdul fans, some of whom may have the disease. That's not objective You can blame any behavior on a disease; i.e. I killed people because I am overweight which caused me mental anguish, etc. But that doesn't show a CAUSAL relationship.

She's used "straight up" several times before with other guests so drop the conspiracy. Some people who have RSD responded to this on another site, saying that they have the same symptoms as she does and that it makes sense for her to be that way sometimes because it takes a toll on the body.

She doesn't sleep and that's just one of the 5 nervous system conditions she sits there and grins and bears.

I'm thankful that I don't have to deal with the crap she has to deal with, and I think everyone needs to give her a break because they are lucky they don't have these painful things
