I have had the exact same conversation before. I agree with regis. Your kids are going to be your kids, no matter when you have them. It doesn't matter that genetically they are going to be slightly different, they are still your kids. You won't ever know any better!

yes they are your kids. of course. but it wouldn't be the same individuals. Each sperm cell carries a different person, personality, etc. so if you wait to conceive it would be a different person coming out. Even if it were to be a wait of five minutes

a different egg and a different sperm, yes, but also, i think the way the kids would be personality-wise would also be different, because think of all the factors in your life that make a difference that aren't because of your genes or when you were born or whatever. the way your parents raised you, how they felt about certain things, their views on certain things might have changed, that would affect the kids when they were growing up. i'm not explaining this well, but i know what i mean. lol
