Hi Jeng,.. seen a lot of your vids, good job!!.. I've been hi peformance off-road rc racing for years and owned top performance vehicles.. the short of it, I never owned a Tamiya, but have always enjoyed the novelty of their scale looks, and also for what they are. Now, at this time, I'm finding myself wanting to pick out 2 of them to own and build "for the novelty of it".. Thanks Jeng for all the time and enjoyment you put into the rc trade.. thanks Jeng!..
And..... Less than a week in, this video inspires me to do the dirty deed. Between this and the post on UT even a duffer such as myself is having a whale of the time.
I would love to see tamiya invest some time into brushless upgrade for there older RC cars , including technology with better gears and suspension upgrades , these older cars are fun to drive , and they don't deserve to be just placed on a self because they are obsolete
@Impossible71 ... hi, may I asked how the plastic motor cover works when it has to fix the motor and has to prevent it from rotating or moving. Is it really tight or does it tend to get loose. I mean, without schrews to hold the motor. I ordered the buggy champ, and figured out, in my view, this problem, so I need to find a solution, if necessary. David
Hi Jeng, I'm painting the body of my buggy champ, but the shade of blue that I'm using doesn't seem to match that of the picture shown on the box. Yours seems to be exactly it, would you please tell me what blue you used?
@tuscanland I actually used Brilliant Blue for this one and thought it turned out well. I believe the correct color, though, is the same as for the Sand Scorcher, which is the relatively limited French Blue.

Why has it taken me so long to find out about these wonderful re-releases?
I must be some sort of blind muppet. :)
