  • this is a different concept of kung fu than what i expected

  • wow entertaining there basicly sparring heavyily lmao hahaha and all i really saw was abit of waterd down muay thai body kicks and basic punching i didt see any form of "kung fu"

  • @farrar101 Sanda/ San Shou looks a bit like Muay Thai, especially for people who don't know what they're looking at. You don't see the kind of Kung Fu you're used to seeing from movies because they only use the stuff that's applicable and leave out most of the flowery stuff that looks pretty but doesn't work on actual fighters.

  • yea that was a good fight both sides did great...that throat kick would have knocked anybody else out haha well not anybody but majority of ppl but jason stuck in there gj man

  • @MrFunkywhale well said man!

  • Jason should have won

  • It now oll stiles was copy of muay-thay!

  • that was a crap fight, it didn`t look kung fu at all . . .

  • @emersonpla

if you take away the "art" or the beautiful movement, you get this, basic movments. Each style has its own, but theyir all connected with basic

  • @emersonpla its sanda sanshou theyre training

  • his MMA techniques always kick in....hahaha

  • It was obviously rigged. Jason was pretty good!

  • @largefirmmember Take it easy dude. It's just a spelling mistake. Everyone makes spelling mistakes sometimes. That doesn't make them an idiot.

  • They should have got Liu Hailong to fight Jason :-)

  • When it comes top grappling and throwing. It's clear MMA has a huge advantage. However, the kicks and agility of the Kung Fu practitioners is clearly superior.

Having said that, the guy he was fighting was only 18...

  • And you never heard of this asian fighter again. They killed him for almost losing.

  • Oh guys common that kid is only 18yr, give him a break with the harsh comment.

  • I hate that people is just so closed in their minds and the only thing they see is Muay Thai with takedowns, Sanda is much more than that

  • @elchacal31 thats wut it is like boxing is just hands.

  • @ageeeeeeeeee what?

  • Son.. I am dissapoint

  • This just looks like weak shitty Muay Thai....

  • Jason seemed to use his Ju-Jitsu knowledge a fair bit and combined it with the Sanda takedowns they had learned, he was close, he did well

  • @UWantSandwich the only good thing about jason was that... his takedowns, but you see the sanda boy didnt punch that much, and only used high kicks, no low kicks a good low kick would have make jason not even able to stand up

  • @onibaku3 Yep thats true, it does make ya think maybe the Sanda champion was going easy rather than ending it quickly

  • The chinese fighter doesn't have a strong base and losing his balance so easily. Not real kungfu without that strong base. This is any embarrassing for representation, even to TKD.

  • I think the chinese should just stop pretending its kung fu and just go and learn the real thing from the Thai :)

  • when does the fat guy fight?

  • 18 year old Chinese kid (Yan) vs. well seasoned MMA fighter (Jason). I'd say that kid has potential!

  • 3.51 =

Jason: * what happened to the rest of the mats??*

  • The white guy went easy on that Asian guy. Samba is good, but that Asian guy wasn't very good. The Samba coach should have fought instead.

  • If they practised Kung Fu without gloves and helments it would have been much more awesome and better but then, they could gte hurt.Nice fight anyway^^

@Athrun000 Yes,it would have been nice if they featured Wing Chun. By the way,is there a Wing Chun episode in Human Weapon?

  • @PhOeNiXfOrCe3000 yup...it was in the beginning of this episode

  • now lets see jason fight with Shaolin Monks.. And See what happens! =DD

  • I dont know why Jason didn't use more striking. He is a pretty good stiker but he relied to heavliy on take downs.

  • Jason is comfortable, cos this is more or less his area of expertise, ie: MMA.

  • Would like to have seen some more police Kung Fu or some army stuff, ill bet they've got some extremely effective moves.

  • sanda is the most powerful style it's just that they need weight classes cuz that's like a 130 pounds vs a 180 pounds

  • out of all those kung fu they pick this one and this fighter. not saying hes bad

  • They should have featured Wing Chun instead of Sanda... -.-"

    ...Sanda doesn't seem very powerful..

  • This kung fu fighter is fight in real?!?!?!?!

  • Comment removed

  • Loool u guys are forgetting Jasons a MMA Fighter, so obviously he would be good.

  • in every episode, all the fighters go easy on these guys....i wanna see some actual ass kicking on these 2! >.<

  • Jason did a good~ keep it up buddy!

  • Why don't these american docs get it right kung fu existed long before the shaolin temple was concieved... dumb asses!

  • If your fighting someone who is experienced in a certain martial art then they will stop u from coming cloe by using a variety of kicks...if your fighting someone who doesnt know about martial arts then their open to almost anything!

  • i think wither one of them fighting the kung fu fighter will do good as bill is a wrestler and jason an mma fighter . so they both are used to landing take downs

  • i still believe that the last fight of "Human Weapon" is "fake"..!!

No one professional kung fu or muay thai or pankration fighter etc.. would have so 55-45% win against one of theese guys..!!

Maybe the professional fighter is just an uknown fighter...

Maybe the professional fighter let him play not to be rediculus and win with little difference..!!

  • I would like to see you guys in this fight.. think its harder than it looks:)

  • wow bill really knowqs what he's talking about, he gave great advice to jason :)!

  • the asian fighter seems a little ashamed of himself

  • wow this really poves that MMA is too very effective and practical in a fight against sanda. His takedowns were good coz of his MMA background/reflex. Good job for both fighters

  • wow i thought kung fu was what i saw in the movies like forbidden kingdom lol.......

  • WAAAAAAAAA

  • Comment removed

  • i thought jason was gonna get his ass kicked, but he was actually really good!

but still nowhere near the level of awesomeness of a shaolin monk.

  • @korvidkrow96 remember he's a professional MMA fighter, so he's use to fighting like that....and there are very few in the world who could stand up to a shaolin monk, remember it isn't just wat those guys learn...but it's how they train

  • @korvidkrow96 i tought it would be a great match because jason is already an experienced martial artist

  • this doesnt look like the kung fu in the jet li movies...

  • @tsiapas1423 DUDE!

  • @tsiapas1423 Alot of the could have been dead already with such lital moves.

  • the chinese oppponent is 18 come on!

  • um…are this fights with the weaker students right? i mean how the hell can u almost beat a 18 yo kung fu student who has practiced kung fu for 8 years with 4 days of training in kung fu?

  • @cuicnoh2 its simple if the guy that trained kung fu bty eight years camwe for strikes all the fight he could take a knock out but grappling its jason strong point so he fought wrong

  • @cuicnoh2 Because he (Jason) was a professional MMA fighter for many years.

  • aside from the monks, kung fu really isn't that impressive. and even then, the monks are using extreme meditation rather than kung fu to achieve their talents. i think that kung fu has been extremely overestimated as an effective fighting form.

  • This Asian fighter is not that good!

  • @shiharnold

I think he took it easy on him.. who knows.

  • Comment removed

  • @shiharnold how can he not be good lol? in the previous part 4 they say hes sanda champion and the most promising sanda fighter . So yea hes GOOD !

  • @shiharnold dude they are small but dangerous

  • They are told not to hurt the Americans before the final fight. Watch every final fight of human weapon against these champions, then watch actual videos of a real sanda fight, you can see that they are being VERY nice to the Americans, especially in the Kyokushin episod...

  • @shiharnold and you think he did his best? lol

  • @shiharnold yea he needs more training but the muay thai guy was just going easy my uncle fought the muay thai guy and was ko

  • @Bboymaniac1 :D you srsly think that anyody believes you?

  • @moos14 go ahead believe wat u want to believe i don't care i was there u wern't u wer talking like a fucking stallker

  • @shiharnold well not in that fight, that was more of a sparring match, than a full contact fight :/

  • @shiharnold i think he is taking it easy on him

  • @shiharnold hahaha yeah... if that would have been Cunge Lee xD they wouldnt have even resisted the 1st round jaja xD

  • I think the asian guys get a little intimidated by these guys cuz they are taller and bigger. Also I think they might be going a little bit easy. Maybe.

  • Sanda looks to me like regular kick boxing, but with some jiu jitsu/judo techniques involved, what do you think? i personally prefer old shaolin kung fu

  • @BetoAcapulco i agree with u dude

  • @BetoAcapulco I'm a Chinese myself and practice kung-fu, actually many people around me have said compared to the Kung-fu, the Sanda have lost too many things, it just gave you the most practical skills in fight so it's quick to learn it and use it in the real battles. But once you learn it to some high levels you'll find it's hard improve your skill any further. Cause it's too simple. And many people who learned sanda always came back to learn Kung-fu to improve their skill.

  • @BetoAcapulco after all there are like over 400 styles of Kung-fu in China, and each kind has its' unique skill in fight ( say, the wing-chun is famous in its' fast punches, you can see it from the classic movie " Ip Man," starred by Donnie Yen.) , you can't possibly learn them all. Not to mention the highly limited Sanda. But it does save your time to learn it into real battle. So it depends on whether you're really interested in the Kung-fu, or just want to protect yourself, imao.

  • @BetoAcapulco and actually the karate and kick-boxing have the same problem, you can see it in this film "Taekwondo(Korea) vs Kung fu(Shaolin,China)." See how a real Kung-fu masters fight with a Taekwondo master, even he's not particularly trained in kicking, he still used a much more skilled and complicated way of kicking than the Taekwondo one. Cause the shaolin monks almost trained in every aspects of martial arts, in this show they just didn't give them the chance to show it.

  • Props to Jason!

  • Did he actually win...? :S

    I think that Jason won?

  • @CnMTube no way. he lost by 2 points in the last round.

  • @UchihaItachi8989

uh, i wanna see that :D

guess he would beat the shit out of your silly white ass.

  • Bias judges...

  • This jaze dude sucks balls, If i was jaze i would rape that chinese dude.

  • @UchihaItachi8989 is that even legal?

  • yang is like 16

  • @williameva 18

  • this is embarrassing.....

  • Very disappointed with the Sanda fighter, but is he only 18 after all. He will peak in his early to mid 20's. I could tell his form was poor when he was shadow boxing, his punches were not crisp and his kicks did not have enough rotation.

The host, Jason, who fought against him was obviously much stronger. In a real fight there is no doubt who would have won. If you can't win on the ground, you aren't a fighter.

  • @ob777 Jason is white...

  • @Aydee2020

Yes, I know. I said Jason, the host of the show, is stronger than the Sanda Fighter (Who is Chinese).

Not sure what being white has anything to do with it, though. =)

  • @ob777 that means hes not chinese.he probably dont know about kung fu that much

  • The end fights are never intense I bet the opponents always hold back

  • all jason was using is force there is no skills

  • @JCCT100

If you can't see the art in what Jason was doing, then you have a limited view of martial arts

  • @Gezhuntite87 alot of mma fighters are well rounded but dont truly master anything

  • Not bad for an 18 year old

  • I thought Kung Fu practitioners were way more skilled than this guy at the fight.

  • @unknownally

that 18year old was a different type of kung fu practitioner. The ultimate kung fu type is wing chun.

  • @unknownally he is 18 o,o

  • @unknownally they are. human weapon dumbs down this stuff cuz they dont wanna kill jason or bill. probly gave the guy a lot of money, and said "jus take it easy. make it look like a kinda even fight" its wut tv does

  • @thatonekidism Sounds like a conspiracy.

The media makes everyone believe everything it tells'em.

So I have to agree. Such as when the gracies made BJJ famous and tested it out on people who were probably not that worthy.

  • @thatonekidism hes a fighter after all

he said he trained 15 years it would be embarrassing for him to walk to the fighter and offer him money in exchange for an easy fight, so its probably a real fight and about holding back i've watched some episodes some hold back some dont.

and i dont think he was holding back cause imagin yourself being a local and some outsider come in challenges you in your own martial art while all of your masters, teachers and friends, are watching alot of pressure ;p

  • From what I see... Jason isn't quite bad. Morelike he has some good experience in combat. Thanks to MMA. Looks like MMA has its uses...

  • Of course they're going to say that the champion won- they can't have some unknown american come in and beat a chinese champion

  • i thought this match up was rather boring the sanda wasnt as spectacular and in my opinion was rather weak in comparison to the animal forms

  • that was a really good match i enjoyed watching that alot

  • Sanda is a good style but not the deadliest Kung Fu and not the most powerfull. The reason why they chose Sanda which existed long before the Qing dynasty or the rebellion, is because Sanda is applied Kung fu. Just like Muay Thai is applied Kung Fu. Its basics is the regular punch and kick which is easy to learn. So you can teach Sanda to large amounts of people in a short period of time (easy to learn but hard to master). Whereas traditional Kung Fu takes 20-30 years to learn.

  • @Elbottoo you wrong . muay thai is not applied from kungfu .muay thai was applied from muay boran.Muay Thai is not related to kung fu.

  • Jason only got so close because of his takedowns :P

  • LOL their 'BEST' fighter nearly lost to a someone who had only a week to learn THEIR technique.

  • @BabysFace lol, its cause of the grappling aspects that he scored so much off him, but he did good though, against their best.

  • @BabysFace thats quite strange.. 0_0

  • @GabbysMyKittyRawr So is a kitty that rawrs

  • @BabysFace Change the subject because you can't debate on my level..? :P

  • @GabbysMyKittyRawr Ok sure, so how was your weekend?

  • @BabysFace Youre a fking idiot. Let me tell you something, kid. Americans cant fight and never could. They were just playing with that idiot, kid. Their "best". That guy is a n00b.

Youre a fking idiot. If thats their best, than I got some house to sell you located in Louisiana for half a million. Nothing wrong with it, just lots of oil spills next to it. But dont worry, that oil is good for your garden!!!! idiot.

    /watch?v=WPjFzXyjGXY

  • @Elbottoo lol that oil spill part doesnt make any sense. And they did say their fighter was the most promising fighter in their academy which only takes the best from all over China... or werent you listening?

  • @BabysFace A local school is hardly "the best of China". Thats like saying a retarded mcdojo is the best of America.

Lmao moron, how many times do people have to say it. Americans cant fight and never will. In every human weapon/ fight quest the american mma clowns gets pummeled into a rude awakening. Thats how pathetic you are.

  • @Elbottoo That's cuz they train and fight on their conditions.

I ain't saying that if the americans would have won every singel match if they could have fought just as they wanted but you got to think about these guys dont have that much time to train that special type of martial art and to top it off they fight some top fighters, just remember that :)

  • @Klantez Yea :)

  • @Klantez

This was more or a less a kick boxing match and any decent kick boxer could have given the chinese lad a good fight, the america guy is a pro mma fighter, so as expected it turned out to be a good match, i've seen much better sanda fighters than this kid, he a promising fighter but one thing he lacked was the ability to faint kicks.. so despite the U.S guy training 4 a few days he still had a good basic knowledge in combat.

  • @Myslot2 Hmm... True bro! I have to accept what your saying cuz it is however you look at it a kinda of kickboxing match... I acctually thought the american would win this on but I was wrong. But the intention of this show is not that they are supposed to go to some land and kick the living fuck out some chinese guy, they're supposed to studdy their philosophy and learn their ways of fighting. The fights are just for fun,. But I think you already knew that, Im just putting it out their :)

  • @Elbottoo First youre explaining how crap they are at fighting, than youre saying that im pathetic because of their fighting. Doesnt make sense, which is how STUPID you are LOL. And yea listen to Klantez.

  • @Elbottoo no ive destroyed people who train kungfu muay thai karate boxin kickboxing mma tkd who are blackbelt, kagi kimbo fighters and sanda fighters from us because im american and have the heart to do it in thigland if you dont fight u work at fairtex factorys or are a prostitute or a thief so thewy train hard in china and other places like laos thailand brazil they train since there 5 and go pro at 10 or 11 how can you compare a dude who train 4 13 most 14 years to a master or champion

  • @Elbottoo SUPER TROLL. He had 4 days worth of training for a competition that played against his strong suit, grappling. Without open gloves he couldn't take complete advantage of his strong suit, making the reigning champion into a "god" of that ring. The fact that Bruce Lee was a Chinese-American completely disproves your point.

  • @clcoc20s 4 days of training in sanda. But 10 years of mma experience. OWNED.

He fought against a fking n00b. Thats all you need to know, clown.

He would have been destroyed against someone stronger and better.

  • @Elbottoo So you looooooose haha

  • i gve props to the guy, luckily that mma background helped since basically all he did were takedowns

  • green tea is extremely helpful.

  • hit him with the fucken chair

  • lol everyone thinks they can fight on the streets

  • USA! USA! USA! lmao i wish of bunch of rednecks with budlite was there screaming that shit

  • karagiozides

  • In my opinion the white guys was better than the chinese guy.

  • rofl this guy is a champion for 3 years? he sucks ass. i'd make him cry haha

  • @turuu214 they probably let the white guy win... this dude can't posibly be one of the best fighters

  • @turuu214 Wordd, I think a 9 year old shaolin monk would reck him

  • @turuu214 if you think he sucks go fight for youre self i hate ppl like you internet "g" thinking they are tough but they never fought and he would kick ur ass in 2 seconds and if you really are retarded you think they are fighting on 100% ur dumb they speak before the show to dont fight at their best els they would kick their ass most fighters say okay instead the israels guys a guy who comes train 4-5days and fight another person who trains his whole life and win that aint possible

  • @politie210 ya... watch the video again idiot that chinese guy sucks balls for a champion or w.e he is suppose to be.

  • @turuu214 ya read my comment again he would kick ur ass so fking hard and like i said they dont go at 100% , why you act tough at internet behind ur fking keyboard and thinking you can beat a sanshou student? if you never had a match/fight he would demolish you go fight against him for ur self

  • @politie210 just shut up u dont no me i fought in the streets b4 dont tell me he can woop me when u dont no wat i look like and im not acting tough rofl.

  • @turuu214 so you talking in the internet you fought on the street and can take a sanshou champ that trains 12years? ya no1 believes it

  • @politie210 ye no one has to believe it im just saying from this video i say this guy sucks so much to be a champion i said i could beat him but thats a lil exagerating and this video is old so hes prolly improved now

  • this guy is nut never use the samething twice

  • Fedor Emelianenko would KILL THEM ALL!!!

  • Munks aint got shit on MMA

  • @falkon14 in an octagon with rules yes, but when its a deathmatch the monk will kill the MMA fighter...

  • @falkon14 how can someone who can resist the pain of spears attack and can break metal bars with their head+ marbles and stones with their bare hand lose to some pathetic people. MMA= mixed martial art. 3/4 of MMA fighters dosen't even know what martial art means. They're only there to beat each other and prove their strength.

  • the sanda guy only trained in sanda for 4 years, and trained for 8 years total....where jason is a pro mma fighter who has experience in muaythai, kickboxing, and brazilian jiu jutsu, he has been training way longer than the kung fu dude

  • @aaronon1 yeah but u can't compare the intensity of the training the guy received in China i mean its practically their life in China

  • damn 2000 people watching, no pressure at all lol

  • i think in today's reality a lot of survival in the streets comes down to weapon disarmament because the honor of fighters is gone and everyone will try and retaliate with a blade or jump someone with some sort of weapon..therefore your ability to disarm these cowards is your ability of survival thats why smart techniques such as JKD and Krav Maga are extremely useful combining all positives of martial arts

  • @lions4life2 ????? i am crying ????? i am trying to say the something that is observable and very obvious

  • MMA its no style JKD its no style , just a name of various martial arts. and anyone style its better than aany another in any way. the real of fight its the fighter. the real style of fight its particular of all. u cant fight like anyone. Look, one boxer can punch more strong than u, but if he wants to punch fast that one wing tsun guy he needs to change ur style, so, keep trying what is good for u

    look: /watch?v=HZFTjRfPCIg
