Couldnt agree more. I thought Nirvana was cool and all but not all that visionary really. Soundgarden was pumping out grunge before Nirvana ever got big. No one sounded like FNM. Thats what made them great
This is the way they're cut up into chapters by the original encoder, I'm afraid. If I was the one who created DVDs out of these I'd *never* do such a sloppy job, but alas I'm just a petty trader. =P I'd much rather have it done song by song, but what are you gonna do. =)
Oh! I see! oh well! it still looks awesome.. I'd love to have this concert. This is sentimental, just seeing him at his first gig, and I remember seeing him for the first time in the videos... I was mesmerized, and still am.
Well, at least you've curbed the repetitive, shallow, fangirlish outbursts. ;) I'd rather put the vids up on YouTube as they're pre-cut... as converting them from DVD to AVI inevitably loses some of the quality, and even on the rare occasions that Windows Movie Maker DOES work... to further cut them up from the converted .avi file only further weakens the quality.
Yeah, I have some Quicktime interviews and I can't even convert them for some reason, I get them on DVD and they look like crap. I don't like to use the avi. format.. I like MPEGS.
No, I have Nero, it recodes and rips and burns, but when I do Quicktime, it freezes it up, that's when I try to recode it, but when I burn it to DVD, it is in that little quicktime suare, and doesn't take the whole screen up like other videos do.. it's strange..
I don't know about converting Quicktime to the DVD files (might just be down to their inflexibility :/), but it should be able to convert it to avi/mpeg/other DivX related extentions. Give it a whirl.
Or you could try converting the little quicktime squares themselves. There's another one called Apollo DVD but I haven't tried that one. These are expensive progs with limited trials. Hrm.
Yes, I 'll definitely play with it, it's such a pain and can get aggravating, especially when you get a great picture, and then there's no sound! LOL.. you just want to pull the hairs out of your head! Thanks for the suggestions, I do have to try and use other methods though to get those little quicktime squares to look normal..looks terrible on a DVD.
FNM were so way ahead of their time. To me THESE GUYS gave rock the kick in the ass it needed, not Nirvana. there ya go.

I love them.. but how come you just don't upload at 10 minutes at a time, instead of 5?

I'm not shallow or outbursting if I'm just saying what I'm thinking at the time ;)
Nothing wrong with being a fangirl ;)

Have you tried Magic DVD ripper?

Does the Magic DVD Ripper do well with Quicktime?

Quicktime is stubborn. Or YouTube are just as bad for not accepting uploads of those types. Ho hum.
