@UltimeciaKnight Play-Asia, maybe? There are various importers. Since it's on CD you can use a PC-based emulator if you don't have a PlayStation from the right region.
@VanishedOne Wooh fast reply, u got like a mod that notifies u when u get messages without having to look at the start page or inbox ? ^^
anyway i guess i could try an emulator. I saw some neat effects like making graphics look like a book when u play and stuff. Though i know nothing about that...
Do u think i can download it from PSN and get it in Japanese maybe with a japanese account or some other way? I need it portable with Psp. ^^ Is this video from playstation one disc or psn DLed?
FF 7 fanboys have such a narrow prspective. ff7 is not even in the top 50 best games ever created. ff 7 looks like crap(even when it orginally realesed) cut scences are not the games graphics. ff7s story and characters were compared to other games crap. so ff7 fanboys admit it, get, over it, that slap yourself 1 time for every ridiculous claim youve made about ff7 among the best games ever, and stop dreaming of getting your dicks wet by ff7 anime girls and go out and lose that V-card.
It's an outtake Square didn't use but left in the game data; you can't get it in any version of the game without using a Gameshark or otherwise hacking the thing.
There's another called 'Cargo'. The only FFVII outtake videos I know about are the ones under my and BrutalAl's accounts, although there's various unused text from the game around the Web (try looking on Unseen64 and following the links from there).
Right: if anyone with fluency in Japanese passes by, tell all and you shall be showered with praise. I can only make out part of it, so even where I can tell with 'some' confidence what's going on I can't give you a proper translation.
There isn't much that moves in them (just some NPC animation cycles), and the backgrounds are plain black too (unlike in Xenogears), so would screenshots do?
Platypus Comix has an article called 'Debug Room Insanity'(and the same author is currently working on a follow-up featuring Vagrant Story and Legend of Mana). Alternatively there's Section III of a document called "Gears": A look Inside the Final Fantasy VII Game Engine. Both of those are easily found via Google.
Thanks for that. I was reading something on gamefaqs about the debug room which is what caused me to look this up on Youtube, but it said in one of the rooms there was a giant Aeris I think.. And it just really piqued my curiosity to see what these rooms contain. Unfortunately I can't get into them myself which is why I wanted to see a video of them but if you've got screenshots that'd be great. Thanks.
what is a psx?

@UltimeciaKnight I have e-mail updates turned on and a Gmail tab open.
That's a PSX CD. I'm afraid I don't know about PSN.
VanishedOne 5 months ago
@VanishedOne PSX CD means PS1 CD? ... I got PS1 FF8 4 CD Discs ^^ ULTIMECIA!
UltimeciaKnight 5 months ago
@UltimeciaKnight Yes. PSX was what the PS1 was called during development.

@VanishedOne Ok thanks.

Fallconn2 3 years ago
Cloud, Barret and Tifa are obviously named Kuraudo, Baretto and Tifa in Japan.
Laurelindo 3 years ago
its the same its only the way its being prounounced here in japan.

And as for there being no sound, the aspeech bubbles are in Japanese, so those who do not speak the language cannot read what they're saying!
IndieRockMusicLover 3 years ago
why is there no sound
danh729 4 years ago
Because the emulator GPU plugin I used to record the video doesn't record with sound.
VanishedOne 4 years ago
oh right just curious to know thats all
danh729 4 years ago
wow and i thought i knew everything about ff7 from how the character are created and to aeris's ghost glitches...there's so much more behind ff7...

Will I need an Action Replay/Gameshark cheat disc to get into this Debug Room if I'm using the PAL PSX verison of FFVII?
DiscoVolante2007 4 years ago
Unless you're using an emulator with a cheat program, yes; see GameFAQs for information on the debug rooms.

Tifa: Hey, don't scare us like that!
Barrett: I heard from Tifa... if you really want to participate that much, help us out with the next operation.
*Cloud brings out the materia*
TheGlitterBerri 4 years ago 12
Tifa: Wow, pretty! This is materia?
Cloud: Yeah. It withdraws an unknown power from humans.
Tifa: Why can we use this unknown power?
*Cloud shrugs*
Cloud: Why? ... I heard the answer before but I've forgotten. The only important thing is knowing how to use it.
Tifa: Okay then, how do you use it?
(Option 1: It's difficult but I'll explain... Option 2: Too tiresome to explain...)
TheGlitterBerri 4 years ago 11
*player chooses option 2*
Barrett: You won't explain because it's a SOLDIER secret, huh? Oh well, I know a little bit anyway. By the way, Cloud... why did you quit SOLDIER?
Cloud: It's no business of yours.
Barrett: WHAT!?
Tifa: Enough of that. Tomorrow's gonna be tough. We have to get some rest!
Barrett: ........
