Rintaro is a great directr and otomo is an amazing writer and this scene demonstrates how magnificently they work together This scene is easily the highlight of the movie and while the rest of the movie has a small struggle with its self regard direction this scene show the true beauty of Otomos script and singlehandedly steals your breath and heart all while keeping you at the edge of your seat Ray Charles song is used in a way that can only be described as perfect This is cinema perfection
