1991 FDIC Improvement Act: Amended Section 13 paragraph 3 to allow the Fed to lend directly to nonbank firms during times of emergency. The Fed used this authority to lend 29B, but that wasn't enough so they went to Congress with a song and dance for another 90.3B. In the mean time AIG has been trying to pull an Enron and are selling assets right and left. The Fed has a stock warrant? for 79.9% of AIG assets, but I don't think any of the money from these sales are going to loan principle.

I don't buy that tax reduction creates negative income to the govt but i do believe that Greenspan's continually lowering interest rates caused the housing bubble and bust and massive inflation that brought the US to the brink of depression. The problem isn't the fact we have corrupt leaders (I mean, they are what they are, right?) the problem is that we have a whole electorate who have been so malleducated for decades that they don't even know what chumps they are. Ron Paul and Grayson have very very different views. I could see Ron Paul choosing this guy because I think he doesn't seem to be bought out like the other guys though. I think this guy would actually prosecute Cheney if he was Attorney General and I wish Obama had chosen him.

Think all you Grayson supporters are being fooled. Grayson understands self service as much as anyone else, cause he lives it.
