Zant would be the only boss in the game with the potential of being a decent challenge had they decided to make his attacks actually damaging. The rest were so easy they would still be jokes even if their attacks did lots of damage. The only enemy in this game I consider to be tricky is the ball-n-chain sub-boss.

Also, I loved how the game slapped you in the face with this. Zant went from the stereotypical dark villain to an unexpectedly silly freak of nature without any warning whatsoever.

@pirateking0310 Just be flipping quick about getting away. You can temporarily kill the hands with your sword (and I assume projectile weapons), to help with the timing.  Also, try planning ahead a best route back (I know some of the puzzles involve placing the sol in those pedistals and such...) Hope this helps!

Probably the most fascinating boss fight in all of Legend of Zelda, except from the Ganon Fights of course. Those fights show pretty much everything about the character of Zant: How he is just a mere servant, uncreative in thinking of an own style of attack, egocentric use of himself as part of his fighting strategy and, finally, the desperate final attacks with his blades. I love it. The fight I probably enjoyed most, after the disappointment of the dragon fight.
