Aloha, your pleasure in making the bread makes watching you make and eat the bread all the more enjoyable! You make it look very easy and doable for begining bread makers! Mahalo Nui Loa for sharing!
Homemade is great! I like the air bubbles - serves a practical purpose indeed, because that loaf looked so delicious, one would need air bubbles for oxygen as one devoured the loaf! hee :)
Quite a few years ago (it must have been in Sweden) people stopped buying chicken.. There was so much fish meal in the chicken feed that the chickens ended up tasting of fish!! Ok, so you get two meals for the price of one, but I want my chicken to taste like chicken.. mind you, I wouldn't mind a chickenbread.. if one came along. It'll save having to put something in the sandwich.. :)
I wonder if you have ever seen "Chicken in a Biskit"? Nabisco brand snack crackers. I haven't had them in a long time. I guess they are flavored with powdered chicken boullion seasoning.
This is a very easy bread to make. However I am sure I will not give up on my local bakery! Too many delicious choices that I do not have the patience to make.
I bought a cast iron pot today, and I am one hour into the first rising. I'm very excited about this :) I am going to use the bread in a bread pudding. Amen to not having to make it perfect! I did go to the original video you posted as well, after watching yours.
I think this would make a great pudding! The texture seems right for it. Except, so far it has not been easy to have any leftovers when I make this! lol
lol. I have a feeling that this may happen here as well. I should have made two loaves, but I only have one pot. The bread pudding may not get made. I was thinking of making and taking it to the party, as the mom of the baby (whose party it is) loves bread pudding.
I just put my dough in my cooking pot without a cover and I bake 40 mins at 450 comes out great. have fun.
