Well done Asam family! I still remember when I first came to Shepherdstown in 1978, Mr. Asam giving me a tour of the grounds and sharing with me his vision of what is now a beautiful inn and award winning restaurant.
I consider myself lucky to have been mentored by him and his wife, still using what was taught to me to this day. Congratulations and continued success!!

We kept in touch over all the years, and had the good fortune to visit the whole Asam family at the beautiful bavarian Inn a few years ago.
To relieve old times we also visited the Georgetown Inn where we worked together a half a century ago
