  • "I advised him to be an individual not a follower"

Now he's pretty much a priest, good try MOM

  • I remember watching this exact vid as a teen (skater) and thinking how badass that late flip was and how cool I thought his bro was for that drugs and alcohol comment. I was such a stupid kid.

  • i like how the guy said he threw his life away on drugs, sounds like a fuckin awesome time to me.this guy is awesome for being different

  • @dickmharter It always seems like FUN..Till you wake up one day and you've become a SLAVE!..I'd never recommend or think it were COOL to use drugs or drink!

  • hes just a clown.

    kind of like louie?

    HAHAHAHAHA

  • Geez what is that cool slomo flip @ 3:50. That dude had style.

  • creative, innovative and hilarious, man this guy is fucking awesome. love his unique style.

  • I thought Simon and Mike Muir from Suicidal got into a fight. Guess not?

  • what's ip with jason jessee looking like a complete d-bag?

  • sick crate slide @ 3:07 they had a trick tip for this in thrasher in like 1997

  • i remember my first skatevid, 411 nr. 5 or so, with him doing a 360 flip over a funbox table at a contest, all dressed up like a clown and his board didn´t have any tail or nose... i think it was his birthday or something.... he also had a board with springs instead of trucks, a bowling-ball-board... hell, even an aquarium board with fish inside! and he was the first guy to do a kickflip with a SNOWBOARD!!! in germany, this guy was quite popular and he influenced me alot! lol

  • Yeah.. He that on a flippin skim board! I think it was for a sonic (skateboards) ad.

  • i saw it on 411 nr. 5, there was that contest report and you cold see it in motion, looked pretty... uhm... unreal.... a clown on a skimboard with wheels doing a tre flip over a funbox (2 quaters and a table) where the other pros wouldn´t do one with a normal board... yeah right!

  • lol

  • simon your stuff is top of the line all the time

  • I remember this guy when I first started skating. Back when 411#6 was the latest and greatest..

I had mixed feelings about him then (When it came to his skating) but now it's like 'WOW!'...

He did so much stuff that most people couple even try to do.. I mean who does an impossible late flip?!

The only dude that I think could touch him in that field is Mr. Mullen (Rodney).

  • #6 was the best wasnt't it? Awesome vid

  • 4:50 - sweet Jesus (no pun intended) -

is that a friggin' impossible to late flip?

  • Late backflip even I think. I want to see "One Louder" by Sonic Skateboards again.

  • @SONOFABITCH

i think it was an impossible to late varial flip, crazy!!!!

  • It's true, Simon is sober and very involved with religion and caring for his mother. I grew up in the same skate parks as Simon in Campbell CA. I've known him for close to 25 years. Simon is exactly what skating needed then.

Guys like Jason take themselves way to seriously. Jason, I've seen some of the 'dumb ass' videos you've put up here.. Kettle.. Pot?

  • he turned to religion, in truth he finds it difficult to even get about these days, he wont even talk about his skateboarding time anymore.

  • what happened to simon?

  • watch "the man who souled the world"

  • @SkribJones I saw Simon about 2 years ago. He got very fat and became a Jesus freak.

  • @fulltimeweirdos Hey! I've lost some weight since then and I am a lot less Bible thumpy. Be nice!

  • Simon Woodstock was a great entertainment to skatebaording. I wish he was still around!
