Yeah, I'm a huge fan of RATT.

I've learned a lot about them just by searching through the old message board of Juan Croucier's web site.

I'm sure there's tons of things to learn on his new board.

I really do feel sorry for RATT. They could have been as big as Bon Jovi, Metallica or even Motley Crue.

Alongside Faith No More, RATT were one of the unsung heroes of the '80s music scene.

The problem with RATT (besides personal relations) was that they didn't get too much exposure.

Yeah, Robbin and Stephen apparently took up all the interviews leading to a dispute between Rob and Warren where Rob told Warren "You don't have a lot to say and interviewers pick up on that" which then lead to Warren taking up more lead guitar parts.

Also their producer made the desicios without their consent. That's what I remember from the video. Then RObin started to do heroin

Yeah Juan had commented on how Beau would put in some keyboards slyly like in Lay It Down and I Want A Woman.

Juan said that Beau would use the producer label to his advantage and be pretentious by playing on the piano and saying he was working on vocal harmony parts.

Beau Hill was a good producer but RATT needed a great one like Bruce Fairbairn, Bob Rock, Michael Wagener, Max Norman, Rick Rubin or Ted Templeman.

Mike Stone was a nice deviation on Reach for the Sky but he was too drunk.
