Thanks for the congratulations! I was completely shocked by the million because we were told that it would be "prizes and services worth a million dollars" and believed the only cash was going to be to help cover taxes. So it WAS a shock that they gave us all of those prizes PLUS a million dollars! :)

Thanks to Macy's we get a home big enough for us, plus we'll be putting the Da Vincineers into action for at-risk kids! Also, we're helping older orphans too. Interested? Search Da Vincineers

I was a little puzzled at Amy's reaction to the V.P. from Macy's in the presentation of the million-dollar check. She appeared to be completely surprised that the "Million Dollar Makeover" granted her a million dollars! LOL

Eh, she was fun to watch anyway. WTG Amy & family!

@WookieeMonster I think she assume the merchandise and prizes were a part of that total. I figured she would win a sizable sum of cash, but I wasn't expecting the full million dollars. Either way - it was an amazing giveaway.
