  • @Thodmod Thanks. I appreciate it.

  • very very nice..

  • How beautiful. I closed my eyes and felt myself floating up from a desert to a cold, quite snow capped mountain..I was surrounded my your piano and pure white as far as I could see..behind me was a double rainbow and then as I was almost asleep.....my dog licked my face and brought me back to my humble office !!!! :) I'll take the dog out and hit re-play. Thanks for posting:)

  • I noticed on ur bio u said u found a good jazz teacher in your mid twenties. How do you tell a good one from a bad one? Because i'm gonna start looking for one!

  • I am a fan of jazz music ....... a celestial and profound sound with beatiful piano chords in C key . honestly I was impressed.I can not read music, but a force to review the movie as I have learned nearly half.........thank you very much. Edoardo D'Incà Levis, Prague (but italian)

  • @itcgroup1 I'm glad you liked it enough to play it. That's great!

  • beautifull!!

  • thanks!! nice video. subscribed.

  • absolutely amazing as always, I'm speechless... heavenly improvisation

    Luca

  • @lucamadeus Thank you so much. I'm using Ivory Italian Grand for the sampled piano.

  • such a rich soul you have...

i am a self taught pianist and i use predominantly the black keys.

If you dont mind could you give me a tip on accessing the white keys with the help of memory and the like? This would be much appreciated!

  • @0the00piano00hugger0 Why not check out some of my tutorials or Jazz2511, who does great annotations.

  • Listening to this I thought it ran about 10 minutes. That is how calming it is, you loose track of time. "Meditation", like prayer you start and just get lost in it. Bless you for sharing and Bless God for inspiring you.

  • @GODLEN Thank you for the beautiful compliment.

  • this is just too beautiful < JT

  • NICE WORK :) Love you're playing :)

  • This is so calming. Thanks I pray blessing continuing on your life.

    5***** and favourited.

  • how nice, great man

  • this was very nice, very good. i come up with various chord patterns all the time, but i need to work on my fingering with the right hand, as well as incorporating more randomness

  • I can't tell you how much I love this! Can you tell me what you use to show what keys you are playing? I would love this tool!

  • batfly, I use the digital keys in GarageBand and/or a program called MidiKeyz. Thx.

  • Not only are you a gifted player... You truly are a gift to the "rest of us"

    Thank you so much

  • Thanks, man.

  • Amazing! I've heard of Jamal on "Gospel Musicians" before somewhere-is it a forum or something?

  • DDM -- GospelMusicians is his youtube name. Check out his channel. Great Stuff.

  • Is this program still available?

  • This reminds me of Keith Jarrett's Staircase album in terms of tone quality and the mood of sober melancholy - but I think this is more satisfying. A lovely sound - thank you

  • Thank you hotelflamingo. I appreciate it.

  • This is so beautiful.

    Thanks !!

  • amazing, so glad I subscribed. I'm currently trying to make my way through a john mehegan jazz book with little success. I need a good teacher, your videos make me want to progress

  • I'm glad I was able to give you a little push. :-)

  • I have listened at least twice daily since you posted....and I have Meditated...for it has been a beautiful balm for the Spirit.

    Blessings........

  • I'm glad you found it. Thanks.

  • very beautiful loved it

  • wonderful sir! absolutely wonderful! five stars! you've inspired me...

  • Wow, very good improvisation! Your harmonic ideas are above par! Still impressive in the key of C!

  • Could you please tell me how to get such a great picture and yet such a great sound on these videos, what camera and software do you use ?

  • I use overhead camera on tripod set on a table. For audio, I record Ivory piano in Logic on a MacBook Pro. Digital keys from midikeyz, which is still in beta, but almost ready for sale. I layer the videos in Final Cut or ScreenFlow and add movie track sound in Logic. Convoluted, but works.

  • Hey 7notemode, It would be really cool if you could explain more about how you sync the video with the midi sound. Do you use the inbuilt mics to make the sync?

  • Very inspirational! Thank you very much for this contribution.

I really like the dynamics and I'm working hard to get them flowing just like you.

I would love if you could comment on my Videos :-)

  • Yes, MarkovicDeluxe, I noticed your dynamics. Excellent.

  • Lovely to share this, Tom!

  • Thanks, T !

  • Your tasteful improvisation is beautiful. Straight to the heart. Thank you for sharing.

  • I thought it was "Meditation" or "Meditacao", the bossa nova tune. Anyway, it's really good!

  • Beautiful!!

    Vraiment inspirant et inspiré!

    Thanks.

  • Merci beaucoup, Maximemusique.

  • wonderful as always

  • Awesome! Just as great as the one in D.

How bout a tutorial on your approach to voice leading, just like your one on swinging?
