@TrappedUnderIce333 after you goto the mesuam of technology get the radar dish thingy and put it on the washginton monument go back to threedog (they guy in charge of gnr radio) and he will tell you where your dad is (rivet city) and it will be put on your pip boy i just got 2 rivet city. If you arnt good at the game (like me) i recomend u get a follower somewhere because there are so many raiders and super mutants its scary. i recomend jehrico he is in megaton and u need bad karma and 1000caps

i know butch is in rivet city. but when i did the quest, trouble on the home front, i did it so that they would stay in the vault. then i went to rivet city later and butch was there in the muddy rudder. he wouldn't talk though.
