I used to imitate Cal's stances when I was younger... tried to use them in little league, in high school...seeing BSG do them is pretty cool and brings back memories as a child.
this guys is good. I was a Big Cal Ripken Jr Fan and I only knew a Few of those (cuz of my age).
I wouldnt be surprised if he (the Batting Stance Guy) has a minor form of OCD or something. the ones Ive known have been very intelligent and knew the craziest and randomest things and facts and the best memories.
I saw this guy on Letterman and I was amazed. Funny stuff, but it must have been a lot of work to get these down. I used to do a good Eddie Murray and Lee May when I was a kid.
Every one of them was pretty on point, especially Melvin Mora and Brady Anderson. Nick Markakis was a little off, but other than that they were all pretty spot on.
Brilliant! Anyone who remembers "Disco" Dan Ford gets mad props in my book.
Two from the not quite as distant past that are fun to imitate are big Sammy Horn and Eric Davis. Davis had sort of the "i don't really care about the moment" stance of all-time. :-)
Every single person who doesn't like this guy is fricken stupid, and you guys dont think he's that accurate with his stances, well congrats!! you finally found out that he purposely exaggerates his stances to make it look funny!! Retards
Why are you all rippin this guy? I would love to see you get out there and pose for 15 different stances, and multiply that by 30 teams. This guy's impressive.
everyone of those was good except brian roberts.. he doesnt move that much.. ur bj surhoff had me cracking up.. but u forgot how he would look at the bat and smile really wide like he was in pain almost lol.. cal ripkens 100 different stances thats hilarious as wel
im pretty sure this guy was at a brewer game this past season, when they played the nationals, and gabe kapler hit a walk off home run in the 13th. he was doing the brewer batting stances.
That was classic. Reminded me of the good ole days back in the 70's and early 80's. Would be cool to intermix photos or video of the real guys in the box with your own.
you forget a few of the orioles like miguel tejada javy lopez rafael palmeiro david segui jay gibbons larry bigbie luis matos jerry hairston jr bobby bonilla todd zeile roberto alomar reggie jackson ken singleton brooks robinson frank robinson randy milligan joe orsulak chris hoiles mike bordick tony batista marty cordova jeff conine ramon hernandez chris singleton glenn davis dwight evans mickey tettleton and billy ripken
They did Miguel Tejada in the Athletics video which was posted a day before this one, so I;m guessing that's why they didn't do his. But others..maybe they were distinct stances or...funny. Or maybe they did them in other videos..maybe they did them for when they played for different teams.
haha you guys are retarded!

As an Orioles fan this was fantastic. Thank you

Good job. You start to picture each hitter in uniform about half-way through each impression.
