  • Now we all have our own tastes and I'm not trying to upset anyone or start a war, but I don't care much for the White Stripes or their music so that would normally turn me right off whatever guitar he played....

I overcame my prejudices and bought one of these guitars, and I will say one thing, the guy knows a good guitar when he sees one. Mine is fabulous. A real joy.

Nice tone / playing by the way.

  • @Stratboy999 Believe it or not, way back when, this was one of the worst guitars ever. The reissue is a much better guitar, but the original ones were japanese made weird reso-glass hunks of junk (actually worth thousands of dollars nowadays because they are so rare). Jack white was never all about picking out the best guitar though. His guitars were hard to play, cheaply made, and didn't stay in tune. But he always said that music isn't easy, sometimes you've got to fight the instruments.

  • how much did you pay?

  • what would you say is better. the eastwood airline 3P or the fender jag HH? what is this guitar like. light or heavy? reliable? worth the money? please get back to me

  • The stupid thing about this guitar is that much ppl buy it becos they want the Jack White sound, but thats impossible!

Jack white as one thats 100% made out of plastic, it has no wood on the inside.

Only if u manage to get an original, you will be able to get the sound.

  • @wernerkonings No, people buy it because they want the Jack White look.

  • @hailmasch not really, if i had the money i'd buy it just cause the sound and how cool it looks.

  • @hailmasch For some ppl that's a reason too, but there will be plenty who buy it becos of the sound!

  • It's very nice impro

  • wheres the guitar made? :)

  • @misterbearmagicman the one he's playing is an eastwood reisue of the guitar which is made in korea but the original version of that is made in usa, i have an eastwood town and country and i would recomend that over an original airline because its made better but the original would be a great

  • nice. you've got some talent. i love the airlines. even the replicas. keep on playing.

  • Thanks bro! If you're interested in my videos, I broke down some of the licks that I like to use. And yes, the Airlines are a delight to play. They are very light weight, makes it feel like a toy, which is pretty cool.

Neck is smooth, and the case I got with it is

beautiful. Looks like I ordered a guitar straight from the 60's!

  • yeah.. i would love an eastwood, but i have im never gonna buy a guitar online. i have to hold it in my hands and play it. if we connect then i'll get if. if not i move on. i have a nice ibanez, and even with her intentions for death metal, she's great for jazz. keep up the good work

  • i played an eastwood airline today:) amazing. absolutely amazing

  • Yeah man, they're great. The funny thing is, when I got it it was already in tune ;). The thing is so light-weight too!

  • i know! my ibanez is supposed to be liteweight, and it feels like its made of stone compared to the airline

  • Is the neck thin?

    Nice playing.

  • Yep, the neck is very thin. Thinner than a stratocaster.

  • @JmAA7192

yeah of course cause the strat had usually c shape neck.

  • I like it, what are your influences?

I know from your vids it's probably some white stripes / jack white, but did I also hear some led zeppelin in there?

  • Actually Jack White use to be my main influence, but after he went off with his other bands. But, my main influences right now are Joe Bonamassa and B.B. King. Thanks for checking it out!
