it is a lot easier to make the legwarmers from the sleeves of the sweater that way all you have to do is sew a top hem and your finished.

@Labomba145 and if you were using a sweater with no holes you could've used the rest of the sweater torso to make a sweater vest. just tailor it a little bit to your size.
