There is so much more to this dance that is not known by the younger dance generation. Dancers like Amina are few and far between. With the huge influx of new dance teachers, the cultural aspect that is taught by our generation is almost but lost. Well done, Amina.

This is a specifice style of dance and its supposed to be just a bit trashy. Its a character dance and that is the character she is playing.

I really like this, and I think the skirt is great for this dance!

Not hating or anything, but I think it looks sort of trashy when women belly dance in short skirts. It just doesn't look right. Like certain movements should be hidden.
