Not commenting on the 3 hosts of the show, but the caller at 9 minutes is ridiculous. What does it mean "I just dabbled...in..college" I think it means he either dropped out or didn't like something, which is not a good excuse not to have completed college.
Please note that my book Keynes Hayek: The Clash That Shaped Modern Economics is published by W.W.Norton in October.
Professor John B.Taylor says that: “Nicholas Wapshott brings the Keynes-Hayek fight of the 20th century back to life, making the clash both entertaining and highly relevant for understanding economic crises of the 21st century.”

I instantly take the same issue with Adelman's logic that Hitchens does. Head Start does not mean the kids on the program will have an advantage OVER their peers. Rather it allows disadvantaged kids who would otherwise fall behind to catch up to everyone else. So bad naming may be, but Adelman's describing some kind of My Fair Lady project where the worst turn into the best, which really is an unfair standard in which to hold it.
@PurushaDesa But the results are NOT comparing "disadvantaged" kids with advantaged kids. It's taking kids of the same background, putting 1/2 into head start, 1/2 not in head start, and by 3rd grade you can't tell the difference.

Only since Barry the Clueless do I find myself wishing for William the Liar.
Adelman is an idiot .... yes he is an idiot for looking at the facts realistically.
