  • yeah he is thats what makes him likeable and thats how he can charm ppl hes so charismatic unlike Brown even tho i dont support labour he was a good PM in terms of speechs but made Bad choices

  • He's very charismatic. Cool guy!

  • he is always very confident and give people a nice impression. i admire him.

  • it's comfortable to hear about Mr.Blair's speech.

  • god he has such an english pronounciation..wow

  • Mr Blair speaks beatiful English

  • He's certainly much more fluent and easy to understand than many politicians. He does less ducking-out of questions than most, too.

  • how boring

  • Don't be so hard on yourself.

  • So the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. What else is new? Politicians fill their pockets with cash, start wars and get more cash for getting jobs as peace envoys. Welcome to the world YouTubers!

  • Tony Blair and Labour make American politics/policies appear as the sick and twisted perversion of our Bill of Rights and Constitution that Bush and the Republican party have made them. These people have the nerve to call themselves, "compassionate conservatives" and "family values Christians." Both are absolute oxymorons.

  • Tony Blair has done a wonderful job ensuring high economic growth along with tackling child poverty. He has initiated heaps of programs to reduce child poverty. You my friend is a prime example of a moron who wants things spoon fed to you. Typical stupid leftist

  • I am upset that Tony Balir left. After 10 good years. He served the public well. He was an great speaker to understand. I do hope he feels proud to be the longest labour leader as PM. Good luck Tony Blair in the future.

  • God, thanks for that jamaicarussa. I'm so sick and tired of the British people whinging on about their hatred of Tony Blair. He was a good politician, a good and fair leader, and even if I didn't agree with all of Labour's policies, it was an interesting time to live in Britain. He was a damn sight better than Brown, and I was very very sorry to see him go.

  • I agree with you Jamaica. He was a brilliant person, despite what many say. Much missed.

  • In America you can do so many things freedom of religion ,speech, and music lol we also vote for our leaders and yes we do if dont understand ill explain abit

  • Tony Blair=Quitter

  • what is the reason for ignoring christianty and it's influence in UK? Why is Christianity facing hostilities in this country, a place where Christianity has done so much? What is the reason of moral decline in this nation?

  • If you look at the history of Christianity, especially in the context of the Church, you'd realize that it was a rigid system of control, a structure to control people's minds. That's why the era where the Church dominated Europe is also called the "Dark Ages".

  • is this actually blair?

  • can you feed starving people in the uk please

  • He can't starve starving people anymore. He resigned!!!

  • one decade on over 100000 children are denied, much of their childhood and education as they look after disabled relatives as local authorities will not put in social care if a child is doing it

  • Blair is a really good public speaker which is more than I can say for many other world leaders (for example President Bush, very unfortunate). I still think it's cool that the PM would agree to do such an interview. Go Tony!

  • I agree with you. Tony is a really good leader. I'm sorry that he's leaving.

  • You need to check the news, pal. Maybe read the paper once in a while or something.

  • Don't be silly! That would mean he would have to live in reality, which he doesn't want to be in at all. The man has plainly lost the plot so to speak. What's the point in trying to make him see his crimes?Total pointless that is!

  • thanks! i used savetube to save your video

  • BYE, Bye NuLabour lol

Not a Conservative, but NuLabour have ignored those most vulnerable in society and should pay for your SHAME.

  • Dont mean to sound harsh but a lot of people who are in poverty in this country have done it to themselves... i.e women who push out kids and live off the state.

There is no reason for anyone to live in poverty in this country. Of course the Government has a major responsibilty but we have to do our bit.

  • Please do not resign to demonstrate the power and authorites of the office of PM and purities of you and your heart that it is the empty-headedness and ignorance of the media do not know how to think that cause you to think you should resign. Do not resign to demonstrate you are right and the media is wrong. You are stronger and not push over by back bench MP

  • end mass immigration! i am in support of letting qualified immigrants in, but what is happening here in britain is out of control. soon we won't be able to move, so overpopulated our nation will be. plus britishness is disappearing quickly thanks to the influx of easy immigrants. but i can't vote BNP, they are racist (i am not) and would make things worse.

  • I will never give up my British Citizenship. For me, you put the 'great" back in GB and I can honestly say before you came into power my life was a disaster when I became a single 20 something with a child. Thank you Tony Blair, you helped me turn my life around!!!!!

  • It must have taken you the past 10 years to try and fix the state of the country after 18 years of utter HELL! Personally, you helped me so much as a single parent that I went on to be a success. So much so that I reside between different countries.

  • Let's see what all the labour haters say when labour cease to be in Power and the country really does take a nose dive AGAIN. Mr Blair you have done an enormous amount of wonderful things for Britain. I almost cant wait for the tories to be back in power (lol) so when the country really does go to the dogs again these "haters" and "know it all" arm chair debaters will actually see the amount of GOOD you did.

  • amateur interviewing, amateur prime minister.

this is more acting, more speaking from a distant podium. blair's semantics won't stand for much one day.

  • Millions of poor, needy and special needs people happily inspired to work and millionaires plentiful in London and cities, immigrants attracted to come to an attractive, beautiful, kind, generous, stable and strong economy and Labour government we are very proud of Labour in the world and in UK rooted in truths, righteousness, justice and wisdom you must teach the people in UK to appreciate

  • New Labour, same old rubbish (now once a fortnight!)

  • . i just hope people can separate the national government from local labour councillors who work their arse off and very few of which supported the war. im also half scottish and i really hope the SNP dont gain power and break up this United Kingdom what was the last thing,as separate nations that was done well. england & scotland loose at football.cricket. then the olympics we get like 50 medals as GBR

  • im actually a labour supporter, hard as it is.but it has been a decade. what govt was popular for 10. where i live is much better Tory years my school has gained a 6th form and is no longer the s***hole it was previously. and i hope no one takes that unprincipled tory toff.

  • hes resigning at the end of june.

  • blair is a total idiot for letting x russians in england and-call for revolution in russia

    blair this is to you

    your a prat

i am american and you are a bloody prat

england be warned if blair keeps up his idiot ways russia will use nuclear arms against you

    this is just a fact

    all english-brits should know

  • you're an idiot. I'm an American too and I'm ashamed that you actually have the nerve to insult Blair after all the support he's given to our country. He's improved the economy and living standards and I'm truly sorry that he's leaving.

  • he inherited an improving aconomy from the thatcher years.

  • Yes "rdoanvaen" and repaired the damage she did while improving our economy.

  • your right he is an idiot and a liar

  • What's the difference between Blair NuLab and Cameron Tories = very little. Because both parties have ignored POVERTY issues, in fact both parties have ensured the growth of POVERTY here in the UK.

I have so many questions, but here's just one:

Why is it that you have been in office for 10 years and yet you have NOT attempted to adress the 1935 definition of OVERCROWDING?

  • Tony Blair - 1984 incarnate. "We are going to war in Iraq, therefore I'm putting less money into the armed forces." Also : "the NHS is getting better, therefore I'm shutting more hospitals". Lies, Lies, Lies, Lies. He dodges questions like a pro. As for the poverty, "relative poverty" and "poverty" aren't the same thing.

  • LOL these vids are so funny lol, Blair, I think most people that are in touch with reality, "DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD YOU OR ANY OF YOUR MOB SAY", You are a dictator, for which the rest of us will pay the price for your LIES.

  • Labour needs to go. Vote SWP.

  • Are you there

  • I thank you mr blair for the 10 years of coruption, scandal, vote rigging, state sponserd terrorism, instilling fear in the people and selling out the people you were supposed to be helping..:-(

  • Hey Tony give Scotland a proper referendum on independance. Come to think it will the UK get a referendum on joining europe or will you just ignore all and push ahead anyway?

  • John O'Farrell quizzes Tony Blair, Only some one dead from the neck up would say he was quizzed

  • Blair has helped pensionors, is that why some are voting B N P At the local elections, They are doing it for one reason hes robbed them since labour has been in power

  • How cool is that. Having a small set and the link like that in the background. Actually working to communicate with the people, even when TB is stepping down. Good stuff!

  • looking at kids now and from my time , kids today are posh! cant say ive seen a kid in actual poverty they all have mobile phones , consoles a wordrobe and basicly more then i did and if they did face poverty at least they have stuff to sell , although i think the poor and rich are better off now the working class have it much harder i have to actually save for months for things i want yet someone on benifits can afford whatever on within 2 weeks isnt fair! :)

  • Apart from the introduction of the minimum wage, this country is in a far worse state than 10 years ago. This Government is more concerned with the perception that its doing a good job rather than actually doing it. Never has so much taxpayers money been spent for so little return.

  • As a result of 10 years Labour, all areas in London and other cities have thousands of millionaires own properties which can be sold and give to young for deposit? I know parents in Hammersmith sold house for £2millions and buy £1million, give the rest to their children, which the media never celebrate. Ask the public how Labour benefits them. I am sure we have many successes to know. I see high roads full of activities, our policies truly good for UK; must work hard to help public find truths

  • no answer for the dome, no answer for the quote iraq intellegence dossier made up from a college student thesis, no answer on killing now by the day, no answer on pfi funds over thirty years hock, no answer about cash for peerage, to say nothing about the sleaze in the party since '97

  • IN 1997? YES IN 1997 THE WORLD WAS A SAFER PLACE. YOUr friendship with BUSH made our world hellhole.

  • Really, does anyone remember the bombings of the Kobar towers, USS Coal, first world trade center bombing and 9/11!?

  • Congratulations with Iraq you really have done us all proud, any more plans to invade another country with falsified information?

I find Blair's attitude to the British people disgusting, even faced with direct questions this man avoids them with such blatant disregard to us all, Labour will never get my vote again.

  • The gap between rich and poor grew since Ms. Thatcher. Thats a shame for a party calling itself "Labour". And there are similar developments in most european countries.

    Something is wrong I'ld say.

  • This Labour Government has revolutionised this country and brought it into the 21st Century. Tony Blair is the Labour Party's greatest leader and one of the best PM's this place has had...just think back to the days of 3 million unemloyment, black wednesday, negative equity, social division and on and on!

  • Well done Tony. Wish you weren't going.

  • Blair's economic circumstances are certainly going to be a lot better than they were in 97 after all this. Oh Tony why can't you see the failings of the free market?!

Of course we can't ignore globalisation and the power of economics, but do we have to bend over so much and let finance screw our principles? Shame on you Tony, you've always acted well but Im starting to think you believe all your spin these days.

  • VOTE SNP!

  • the minimum wage changed britains working class nearly doubled our income more nurses teachers police than at any time in our history and a pensioner minimum guarantee and more spent on new building schools hospitals infrastructure than at anytime a low interest rate low inflation mr blair got ito bosnia before the un woke up iraq is a just war on terror labour saved britain work it out

  • Can anyone believe one word this man says? How many lies has he told us so far? Too many to mention.

  • Hey Brassyknob, you talking about Bush, Howard or Blair? :D

To be honest I can't tell the difference between UK's Labour party & Australia's Federal Liberals.

  • yeah, 'Tony' as i know him by ;) needs to explain why we blatantly followed America, no, george bush into war with a country which hadnt had anything previously to do with terrorism. Does anyone else actually remember bush saying that america was at war with afghanistan?

  • the only thing that will save Labour in the May elections is not you Mr Blair but the history of the Labour compared to other british polical parties. its a good thing you are stepping down!

  • Before Tony came along, the Labour party never won any elections.

  • Congratulations, Sir! :)

  • I wonder how much views THIS publicity sunt will get..

  • investing millions in our own weapons of mass destruction-we rushed to war [why couldnt we give the inspectors more time?upto a two years before the invasion Colin powellconsistently stated that Iraq was not a threat. We are bringing privaitisation into the NHS, this will mean that profit and not care come first.Stop allowing employers to pay employees £1 an hour through offering NVQ's.I have seen it time and time again. its just a way to exploit and get cheap labour.

  • Tomtaylor1, why couldn't Bush & co wait? One word OIL!

  • lol

  • Typical Labour you should be saying what you have done wrong in order to make it right

  • After years of supporting Labour, I won't be voting for you Tony. Not until you drop your sick biometic ID card plans. 50% of the population are against it, both opposition parties are against it, its expensive and totally useless. We want policemen not bits of plastic.

    ex-labour voter.

  • This is exactly the same reason I refused to renew my labour party subscription.

  • You're not voting for Tony; he's not running for office again. He's leaving.

  • me and my easy question... ;D

  • The Iraq war changed everything.

  • Not too bad Mr. Blair.

  • This is Blair Legacy, Less democracy, Tax payer hocked for thirty years, To pay for new schools and hospitals, Secret courts, lies in parliament every week by the Prime minister

  • he dodged every question

  • A bit short, same old rant wasted a lot of time, I do not think this to be looked apon as positive, even by himself.

    ..Labour voter..

  • I will vote Labour any day. The Tories should get stuffed.

  • I like the way he moved way off at a slant about the millenium dome question. And also that he won't admit to any mistakes he's made.

  • Really quite cool...

  • John O'Farrell quizzes Tony Blair on life as Prime Minister and tackling poverty. The interview has been split into three segments. Part 1a and 1b have been released today and part 2 and 3 will be released on Wednesday and Thursday.
