he sounds dark.. and without TOO MUCH emotions..

of course there must be some emotions.. but only when they have to be there..

for example when he says "finish him"..

in the new mk 9 for example.. it is too much overreaction when he says "fatality"..

Like seriously the game seems alright i played the demo on ps3 and it was okay but it was no different from the others except for the bone crushing and it was in a 2d/3d form....i wouldnt buy it because it doesnt seems like its worth 100 dollars...im a really big fan of mortal kombat but lately their games havent been all that good...they need something extra with it because all of the games are just alike to me...Comment on this and if you like this vote up!!..THX!

@dark1692 I dunno..maybe..but.. There are brutalities in the game. I remember when it was December and I heard "Brutality" I thought I am going to scream so loud lol. beacuse i was so damn happy. Brutalities are cool. But when I saw no brutality in the game I pissed off... but this is real...maybe this is just a secret and you must do long combinations like in Mortal Kombat Trilogy. In my opinion....so maybe there ARE brutalities.

what about those train in subway stage, looks to me that it has random button inputs appear on it while train's moving...just find video here of subway stage fatality or gameplay and freeze everytime train appears...

Espadacurse In the game, there are three slot for the finishing moves. Two of the slots comes automatically unlocked and one locked. The two unlocked slots are fatalities and stage fatalities. The which is locked is babalities.

(SPOILER ALERT) There's a leaked achievement which is to perform one of each "-ality" so there is more than just Fatalities, my guess they will have Brutalities, Babalities and Friendships, no Animalities as Ed Boon has confirmed that via twitter, but I hope they don't show us so we can discover them for ourselves, like back in the day where you had no idea how to do a fatality for a while but when you did it on accident, it was that much cooler.

@FuryRains They wont show us, the only thing we will know off hand is 1 fatality and the stage fatality input and that's it. Ed and the MK team are big on having things secret in the MK games, every time people ask they all just smile and remind people that if this is in the game or not they wont say and that you will just have to wait till it's out and find out which I like.

@Evilmonkey66699 I know but the demo for the ps3 was hacked earlier last week, and it revealed that achievement as well as Friendships, Babalities, they are secret in that we haven't seen either of them, but they will be in the game, the hack also revealed the entire story of the game and the reward for beating challenge 300 I won't look at the story or anything else because I don't want to ruin it but if you anyone wishes the answers are already out there on most things.

@FuryRains I know about the hack, the thing is Ed boon is nefarious for mixing fake red herring stuff with the real stuff in every MK game's code he's been doing that since MK 2 after he learned about people hacking the MK 1 boards to see if there were any more secrets. Case in point in MK 3 you will find various references to characters that don't exist in the actual game complete with bios and fake calls to "name here" wins text and non existent voice files. So we wont know for sure till april

@only1colione Nah this sounds like Hector Sanchez who did the voice of the announcer this game. While MK 2 and 3 was done by Steve Ritchie and his voice doesn't has as raspy of a edge to it as Hector's and in case anyone cares in MK 1 Ed Boon himself was the announcer. Also interesting enough Ed in a interview alluded to the possibility of Steve or himself as the announcer possibly being a unlockable in the Krypt. not getting my hopes up but would be cool.
