Hydras are still better with Thors dealing their damage slower - one-shot kills meant that hydras often didn't even get a shot off before getting melted. Now, even though the same amount of damage may be dealt over a period of time from a Thor, if the hydra can survive the first shot it will get at least one hit in before it dies, which makes a difference. Hydras still aren't a good choice against mech, of course, but the change did help some.

IdrA needs to watch this game... by the way he played WhiteRa (HD's channel) you can tell he doesn't know how to pull off Ultras. TLO is a completely different story. The Doomdrop and the flanking is one of the things that gave him the win.

@P2000Camaro If you had that many turrets you would probably have lost a long time before that point. Each turret you plop down means less units you can produce, which is what really kept cold in the game for that long.

That was a really good game.... My style is more of drop.. Guys got there tanks and everything waiting for me to run in and die..... I just drop all my units on top of their tanks... Works every time.. I love hydras though usually mass them best all around units fully upped.. I always expand like little one too so easy to expand with zerg and if u lose one its not a big deal if you still have drones

Yes, that was awesome. I love using ultras to walk over a turtling terran's base. What I am having trouble countering is the fast marine + marauder blitz. It doesn't give me time to cripple their economy with mutas to set up to wipe them out Ultralisk style (if they managed to fend off total defeat from the mutas)

@ecnetsixe as long as you can scout the mass marine/marauders, just get a decent ball of zerglings and banelings and split em into 2-3 groups. once they send their terran ball u just surround them and watch em explode :P

Cola messed up the endgame so badly! TLO had 0 units that could attack air! All Cola had to do was thorship around and snipe hatcheries! Until TLO got his tech back up to spire, he could never kill Cola's floating buildings!

@yvald1 Frenzy is a spell that the infestors had for a little bit instead of the infested terran. It make whatever unit you cast it on do 25% more damage and made them immune to stuns and mind controls. It was that little aura thing that was on the ultras in the video

Moral of this game: In the end, terms such as 'op' and 'imba' shouldn't really be used in Starcraft at all to describe anything or conjure excuses; what really decides a victory in a match is the player's overall skill, experience, and reflex time. Not in any particular order:

Thor < Infestor, Zergling, Hydralisk

Marauder < Zergling, Hydralisk, Mutalisk, Brood Lord

Medivac < Anything that can hit it

Finally, mass Ultralisks! That was a truly marvelous battle. TLO played sooooo well; really, it was near-flawless, from harassment to building disruption to map control to Tumor control to pure strategy. There's a reason The Little One is ranked so high.

Now, if only there were a game featuring Battlecruiser and Carrier fleets having a dogfight...

@TheCustomechanic yeah, they found out that building thors from scvs was overpowered because you could build multipe thors at the same time. so now they're built from the factory, kind of like giant goliaths.
