Wether Blackmore's Night is singing this song, or Joan Baez, it's a beautiful song. I am not complaining, I originally love both versions! Joan Baez's version is very soft, mellow, beautiful, and Blackmore's Night version has a little jazz to it. Guitars, both acoustic and electric. I love this song!! I hope to see more famous bands cover this song in the future!

@marios151 Well said. This version "Blackmore's Night" is like a Mariah Carey version of one of life's classic original songs written and sung by Joan Baez about her ex, Bob Dylan. Theyve managed to transform one of the best folk songs ever written into á slow rock/pop anthem. Rubbish!

Superb ;..but lacking the angst sturm und drang of Baez writing and singing to her lost lover Bob Dylan.

Nothing like the original with the plaintive strains and pain of love lost ringing out through the words and music and performance., Baez plus

Priest are enough, played back to back in that order.,..but I am going to playlist this one too.

This is a great song. Listened to it for the first time in 1982 , its one of my all time favorite. Judas Priests version is what real gives shape and life to the song. However the lady has composed a beautiful song and her voice is surely enchanting.

Just use your ears and your guitar, it's quite easy. Mainly they are four chords, in one of the most common combinations: minor chord, the chord of its (minor) sixth, the chord of its (minor) third, the chord of its (minor) seventh. For example: Emin, C, G, D (actually that's Zombie by the cranberries).

Thank you thank you thank you....somebody finally say it.....these guys that rely so heavily on tabs that they can't figure out how to play the most basic of songs. If he's so interested in playing things to perfection take some friggin lessons learn some theory and train your ears so you won't be a slave to those friggin tabs.
