@WyldeBLSdrummer5 Ah, my fellow breatheren! I was once on on F-111D and F models. Back then the AFSC was 462x0. I don't know what they call it now. What's your aircraft? What # man are you on the crew?
@jonesy97 Now the afsc is 2w1x1. I am on the F-15E. Not entirely sure what # I'll be yet only because I haven't started yet at my new base. F-111 must have been a fun plane to work on!
@WyldeBLSdrummer5 High wings (Like the F-15) made it east to load on. I was a load training instructor at RAF Lakenheath. You know, those awful guys that you have to go see once a month and load 8 conventional/ 1 nuclear. F-15C's and E's replaced all the Aardvarks at the heath. From what I remember, there really isn't a bad posting anywhere that has F-15's, unless you hate Alaska. Where are you stationed? SJ?
@jonesy97 I love the high wings because I am really tall. Im heading to mountain home actually just finished up tech training at sheppard afb a few weeks ago. So you were load barn? Im really looking forward to getting the ball rolling with icerts and stuff...little nervous but determined to prove I can pull my own weight.
@WyldeBLSdrummer5 Same here. I'm 6'2, and the last thing I wanted was something like an F-4 to give me back problems my whole life! My training was at Lowry, in Denver, CO before they shut that base down. Listen, you'll love your job, trust me. Especially when they're live!!! Nothing better. I loaded 352,500 lbs of live munitions during Desert Storm, and it was great. Do it for as long as you can. You'll miss it when it's over. ICT's are a blast, too. You'll love the rush!
Get a life you retard. you can officialy say that once you've had to eject behind enemy lines with nothing but a handgun and a (unreliable) radio......
Not that fatal car crashes are any less likely. With the Air Force, you usually know you're being shot at. With daily life, you get caught unaware of your demise.
the army would be shit out of luck without the air force.
Who do you think calls in the air strikes that save the lives of soldiers? Tactical Air Control Party, which would be an Air Force attachment to an army unit. Or who do you think is out there doing EOD training for the army, so they can without loss of life or limb disable or destroy IEDs, once again the Air Force. Check your facts, before you make an ass of yourself again.
All the USAF needs is a 2pound bomb to scare somebody.. but they use 15,000 pound bombs .... Air force is Badassely OVER KILL

Bull shit. These guys have to go through training to encompass their capture by an enemy force. I think it was SERE or something.
