The three different Dugrassi series' are smart, entertaining, clever, fun. But they are NOT "original teen drama". These plots, these teen characters, have been done over, and over, again.

I enjoy each and every episode, of each season, of all three different Dugrassi series', but one must grasp and maintain a proper historical perspective.

I grew up watching this, it use to talk about stuff which were a bit taboo at the time on tv like teenage pregnancy, drugs at school, aids and so on... used to love it! and we used to think Joe Jeremiah was just hilarious!!! I find the older Degrassi series from the 80's way better than the New one. The only benefit with the new series is there's some fine looking girls starring on it like Stacey Farbur, Lauren Colins, Cassie Steel
