  • I live in Port Saint Lucie. Frances then Jeann damn it sucked

  • This day was cool. But lots of damage

  • @twinkesrockz It was cool untill the power went out and it was 90 degrees inside

  • That storm was so fun! I was around 6 years old, the house was pitch black because all our windows had shutters up, the wind roaring outside and the best part... We had a plastic playhouse on our porch whice could blow away so we had to bringg it inside..BEST DAY EVER! Not a scrap of damage, except this ugly tree we wanted removing blew away. HAHA! We got lucky. :D

  • I remember this day well. This would be a day you wished you wore your concrete galoshes. The high winds lingered, it seemed forever. I live inland in Palm Beach County, and it was scary. September 5th was a powerful day in 2004

  • How is the Temp while such a Storm?Still pretty High? What is coldest Temp , which Months ..? Like to know .. !

  • @HURRICANEM5 Usually hurricanes are warm core which evolve from the tropics. They are designed to bring warm air up from the tropics so most of the time during a hurricane the temperature holds steady in the 80s. There is no sunshine during a hurricane to warm the air temperature up, so it relied on the humid airmass to keep it warm. Hurricane season in the Atlantic are during the months from June to November with the heart of it being in August and September.

  • i was right at the marriot in palm beach gardens when this happend

  • Oh yeah I remember Frances...Living in Clearwater when all those storms hit...Frances was on top of us on my B-Day, as you can see from the date in the video. After Frances was Jean...Charlie, Frances, Jean...power was out for like two weeks, if I remember correctly...was fun though ^^

  • if you are watching the flags blow in 250 mph winds then the flag will rip to shreds

  • highest wind ever had in hurricanes is 250 mph

  • Comment removed

  • That's why i don't live in the tropics. north Michigan for the win lol

  • @patbatzu2142 lol fuk all that snow

  • hahah i remember this i had to drain my pool in the middle of the hurricane i literally thought i was gonna blow away

  • @NapoliXBleedsXBlue That wasn't the smartest idea I take it....

  • that hurricane eventually hit pennsylvania and i was there at the time the wind was blowing so hard it almost blew down are house and it put a tree right through my neighbors house and we had a tornado warning

  • LMFAO MY NAME IS FRANCIS :O

  • Hey you can sit there and laugh about that but i was about 6 and stuck in the eye of that thing and you taking the piss out of this makes me angry

  • I was in Boynton Beach from June to November of 04 (in a drug rehab). I experienced 2 hurricanes that summer. I remember that the worst parts of both storms were at night. We lost power. During the day, for one of the hurricanes, I remember walking outside to go to another part of the apartment complex that I was staying in and it wasn't that bad. We have had worse storms in the midwest though. Still pretty crazy,

  • Very Easy to forget that we live in Mother natures world not the other way around...

  • I lost my roof in Royal Palm Beach then like a week later Hurricane Jeanne destroyed everything else. Boo Frances.

  • @daizygrl three storms in a months time for my area BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

  • I lived in Jupiter when Frances hit we didn't have power afterwards for a few weeks.

  • this bitch sat on us fo 2 days and knocked power out for 2 weeks top that off fo a pisser

  • For me, this one sucked da worst! This bitch sat on us for "two" days!

  • I was in it, when the eye went over Tampa. Category 1, and by the time the eye passed me, it was Tropical Storm.

  • i was in hurricane frances MAD scary

  • i was in wilma and had no power for 3 weeks!!!! but im sure wilma wasnt worse then francess.

  • It depends on your location, but in total Wilma was costliest than Frances.

  • i was in that mess. scary shit

  • i was in boyton and i had no power for 10 days i had no video games which drove me nuts

  • i was in Camden co. GA, and stayed up all night playing Halo

  • I left town for this hurricane! After Charlie;I wasn't going to stick around! I came back to face Jean;that year if you lived in Florida you were caned to death!

  • its always good to get a few palm trees in your shot; they show off the wind speed well, and don't usually blow away...

  • thats my name

  • I was very sceptical about staying home in Port Saint Lucie and we got the eye, and it took like 4 days for it to pass by it was crazy!

  • i thought i was safe since it was moving pretty fast but the eye wall stalled right in the city i was in

  • yeah I live in west palm well near there in delray beach we get the hurricane next week probably hopefully it is not as bad as wilma was though.

  • i got hit by the eye . it was very still and the anticipation for the eye wall was crazy..oh yah my whole neighborhood flooded because of our over flooded canal in ROYAL PALM BEACH...in wilma , i lost power for 3 weeks it was a nightmare..

  • dam that must be scary

  • I remember that like it was yesterday.

We got off school for 2 weeks and spent it cleaning up shit and then going inside and playing Xbox in the A/C lol

  • I went through eye Frances in Port St. Lucie... you talk about freaky... When that eye wall hits, it's like the big squeegee brushes at a drive through carwash, when they clean the sides of your car... then it was dead calm for an hour, and the air was still and misty. When the other eye wall hits, it shakes the house. I tell ya... even though Frances was a Cat. 2, and Jeanne was a Cat. 3... I would take Jeanne over Frances any day.

  • That storm took forever. Good thing it wasn't cat.5!Cat.2 isn't a picnic but still.

  • I was in that.. I saw about 1/2 dozen of

our supply trucks sink into the ground.

  • I love the sound of the winds at night. That creepy, surreal hurricane squeal.

  • those palm trees are tested to the max

  • i was n franices but then i moved so now i live in new jersy

  • I lived in St Augustine FL, and we didn't evacuate. So we got to meet Francis up close and personal!!!!! Man, this takes me back!!

  • only acategory 2 with 105mph winds but very scary destruction

  • frances was really large and affected the entire east coast of florida!

  • i live in sebastian by the time it got to sebastian it was a category 2

  • really nice video of the hurricane :) Kinda scary when ur in it though

  • cool video the hurricane was awesome

  • I was in hurricane frances when I went to florida it was quite scary and lasted a few days. It was annoying because we couldnt go to disneyland those days so we missed out.

  • I lived that one...Jeanne, Ivan, Charley and Wilma...thanks for the cool shots!

  • Soon I'll be chasing with you. -Max from Hawaii

  • Great video Jim! It's cool to see Eric and Max at work...it reminds me of all the time we spent at the NHC in the 80's and 90's...haha. It's funny to hear (and see) Jose going all crazy. I wish I had been able to get off from work for Frances, this would have been such an easy chase.

  • This was the first i endured, thanks for uploading.
