The thrueth is written in some old scrolls, basicly only Hatsumi is allowed to read, and wether it's a colourfull and rich cultural story, or bare blank pieces of paper actually means nothing to me. Soke Takamatsu, the soke before Hatsumi was the first man who started training people (Officially) in this form of martialart....

Anyways, Takamatsu died in 1972, (my his spirit rest in piece) but in his life, he has used Bujinkan quite often to defend himself, as he has been assaulted several times. Read up on him if you'd like ;) just search for "soke takamatsu" on google and hit the first link :) Btw, I'm pretty sure there's only videos of soke Hatsumi on youtube. :)

Actually, I do have experience in real combat, and nowhere have I ever, ever, ever seen any of Fraudsumi's bullshit being used, let alone working. He is a cheap con artist, and the only people he's able to dupe is credulous, loser bullshidophiles like you. There is nothing here that is "similar" to western arts; this sort of laughable bullshit only exists in Oriental bullshido. Any boxer would smash the shit out of Fraudsumi and his dipshit students. @kommisar Beating up your little sister doesn't really count as real combat.To compare a boxer vs another MA is a mark of an amateur. Every true martial artists knows that the art is just a guide.In the end it's up to the individual to refine himself in which ever way he sees a weakness.I see what Hatsumi teaches everyday!Most MA have it as well in their system including boxing.It's too bad your not intelligent ebough to pick these things up.Maybe once you mature, you'll see what I mean.

@kommisar You sound like a broken record.I never said that boxing is not a form of MA.Boxing is simply a striking and footwork method.Other MA have it as well.It's the basis of many MA.Do I respect Boxing?Of course,I recommended for those who wish to improve on footwork and conditioning.Unlike you,I see many great things in all MA including the Bujinkan.I'm not limited to one idea and before I judge or give up on a technique,I make it work for myself.It's obvious you have no experience and class

@kommisar if you want to see ninjutsu strategy being used in a sport situation check out UFC 2 and look up the Koppo Karate Randori. Its never the art, just the fighter. Its better to not be so ignorant

@kommisar Sure I'll teach you.Most of the video shows how an object can be hidden and used as a weapon.In reality you don't show the weapon,but Hatsumi must show it to teach.In one part he gives an idea on how to attack an unconventional area with a weapon.All of this is unrealistic if you don't have a strong foundation of real combat.This is not meant to be understood by beginners such as yourself.This is why he always reminds ppl that he teaches for the experienced martial artist.

@kommisar By the way. Hatsumi is a retired orthopedic doctor. The man made enough money just by doing his normal profession. He's nearing his 80's. If you were a retired doctor at that age would you care for so much for more money?Seriously,use some common sense man. All he wants to do before he retires from the martial arts is build a bigger Hombu for us to continue training.He's using the money of the Bujinkan to fund our future Dojo.I don't really see a scam in that.

There's not one person in this video that gives any sign they are an experienced fighter. These are all idiot, credulous students who LARP to give the impression his bullshit "techniques" work. They in fact do not. You will not see these ever in any fight, anywhere, any time. You are a fucking fool if you think any of these losers can fight.

@kommisar How do you know someone is not a fighter?Can you really tell?If I were you I'd be careful who you judge in real life because you don't know who has done what.Look at SEALS or JTF2 members for instance.Most of them look like regular 170-190 lbs guys.These videos and classes are instructional,they're meant for ppl to learn.I'm not sure if you train,but would you fight with your teacher if he's trying to show you something?If so,you must get kicked out often.Where are you from anyways?

I don't see the why there has come such a huge fuzz about the thrueth of the origionality of Bujinkan. The thrueth is written in some old scrolls, basicly only Hatsumi is allowed to read, and wether it's a colourfull and rich cultural story, or bare blank pieces of paper actually means nothing to me. Soke Takamatsu, the soke before Hatsumi was the first man who started training people (Officially) in this form of martialart....

@Arteanor ....Anyways, when training Bujinkan you have to take a lot of huge loads of steaming hot diarria from people. Wether it's about the story behind it or the skills it teaches you. You pretty fast learn how to sort all the bs away. I love the way Bujinkan teaches you to move, think and act. To me, that is the most important about a martial art. And by the way, just because something is written down, does it make it the trueth?

and if it WAS made up by takamatsu, all i have said is then that it in no way deserves the title of ninjutsu... which takamatsu has never been able to prove any link to..

@Arteanor No, I said it was Takamatsu who started training people oficialy, he had been trained by his soke and and was in fact the 33rd soke. Anyways, Takamatsu died in 1972, (my his spirit rest in piece) but in his life, he has used Bujinkan quite often to defend himself, as he has been assaulted several times. Read up on him if you'd like ;) just search for "soke takamatsu" on google and hit the first link :) Btw, I'm pretty sure there's only videos of soke Hatsumi on youtube. :)

and "by his soke"? hatsumi is the first to use the term soke... takamatsu didnt.
i have seen videos of takamatsu... and read more than you have on him...
it doesnt change that he has never proven his claims to ninjutsu, or it being a MA, budo or taijutsu.
you really ought to educate yourself...
Shinobi Soldiers is a good start, and the scrolls (bansenshukai, ninpiden, shoninki) for a look at historical ninjutsu.

@Arteanor okay, first off, the term 'soke' means 'grandmaster' in japanese. I'm pretty sure that this title has been used before :P
But anyways, go check up on Togakure Ryu Ninjutsu, it's the true form of ninjutsu of which the bujinkan association comes from :) and next time, don't just go wiki ninja, there's so much more to it then that..

there is no evidence for the takamatsu' claims to ninjutsu, the only proof he has ever offered is his own say-so.
after takamatsu' death, hatsumi even told people he has densho even though takamatsu went on record telling the Bugei ryuha daijiten that it was a kuden (oral transmission, no densho)
wiki is a terrible source, anyone can go and edit the ninja wiki, its all uncited.

@Arteanor I'll tell you what I'm, no yokel, no follower and no disillusioned kid who's seen too many Ninja flicks. but the fact still remains hatsumi is a great martial artist, Ninjutsu or not! By the way Bujinkan contains 9 schools and only 3 of which are ninpo which has very little to do with combat. Hatsumi doesn't need to prove anything to anyone scrolls, lineage...nothing, try going to the hombu dojo in Japan and see for yourself the level of skill this man has!
