I'd definitely say learn figures before loops. You need to develop your edges before you try doing loops, which are a lot tighter.

My coach wanted me to do loops before figures and I struggled a lot with the balance. Now I know I have to

do figures first.

F&L is a cool movie... a bit long in spots, but still an entertaining look at the world of artistic roller skating. I saw a pre-release of it a few years ago before it had been completely edited. I really liked it.

my best friends family does this.. its not as easy as you think.. its harder than ice skating.. the roller skates are very heavy.. but either way.. i've seen the compititions in person and they are quite interesting... but hey.. at least they are out there working out..and having fun!

Oh my God!

That was partly filmed at the 2002 World Championships in Wuppertal Germany!

I was there as a competitor! In the precision team skating event!

Wow, I'm really excited, maybe my team will be in this film somehow! I have to see it!
