There was even an offer to fix the west harbor from Mr Young as well but city council was stupid enough to shoot that down as well. Mr Young is a smart person and his proposed Pan Am park would have done Hamilton wonders to improve the city. That area would become more desirable to live. We all know that the only way to make a downtown successful is to get people living there(Something a stadium or arena can't do). Apparently tourists and money they would spend are not welcomed by the city.

Second, How can you justify the wh? That's a built up neighborhood as well. That and the proposed lands on east mountain leave enough distance from residences if you goto satellite images.....Ah well not my fault the city council is stupid to put a stadium in an area with no parking and little to no access. They wouldn't even think of the other 9 sites that were brought to them.

The city of Hamilton never took the time to look at other possible sites. The city only wanted the west harbor and were not going to settle on anywhere else. I fail to see how this is bad for Hamilton. Hamilton screwed themselves it's the other way around. Ah well everyone who lives outside of Hamilton supported Mr Young. Guess I'll never go to Hamilton ever again if the Ti Cat's are not welcomed. The stupid NDP supporters (like 0000388) of Hamilton are always wrong.

@Cameo540 First of all I have never supported the ndp.Second , this is a municipal issue.Bob young came in with only a month left and started making demands.Ticats play 8 home games a year and as far as I know dont even pay rent.The only reason he wanted the east mountain site was because for his 15 million investment he was going to get 7000 parking spots that he could charge people like you $25.If you know the mountain site it is surrounded by expensive houses , not the place to put a stadium
