If you want more money, work harder. If you want to lose weight, work harder. Being positive is a good thing but that alone won't bring you everything. You have to take action and pursue your ambitions, not just wish for it and expect everything to go your way. Life isn't that easy.
One of the few things I hated about The Secret was the scene with the kid and the bike. "Keep wishing for a bike and your grandpa will buy one for you." If The Secret emphasized HARD WORK, and DEDICATION along with POSITIVE THINKING, you it would have made more sense. I still believe in the power of attraction.
READ IF YOU'RE FEELING GOOD! : When I was watching the first 20min of the movie, I kept thinking - I can really see how it works. But their logic doesn't make sense. But it works in the way that what they say allows your mind to focus on something less daunting: which is that the universe responds to your positive thinking. I think in reality it is real PEOPLE who will respond to your positive thinking, but this is a harder logic to go with if you are unsure of yourself to begin with.
