Make sure you use the Dace adapters and even then, you are going to put a lot of extra stress on the truck with them as wel as turning radius limited.... I take for granted these things but they keep coming up and just want all to know before you go out and slap BJ's on your truck.

I run pretty rich and with 20%, just think if I used 33% Traxxas fuel and leaned this sucker out a little? I just might since I have an extra engine LOL. I may send it out to be "ported" and all that. The truck rocks.... yep no doubt LOL
They are actually putting out a new version of the Savage. Basically the same truck with an extended chassis and bigger motor. I think that is cool but the motor is still not as powerful as this one :) If I have a choice I usually choose Associated over HPI, that is just my own personal thing.
the tnx is a great truck , ive seen it used all day at a big show where they jumped a wagon repeatedly and ran round a track with a vertical ramp .the tamiya tnx was the only truck that ran out of the box and didnt need a repair. p.s the jumps where performed on tarmak road.

It is one of the tougher trucks I have had. Broke a bumper and an arm due to extreme landings so it was not the trucks fault. Actually I was suprised it had lasted as long as it did. I love the thing, dont really want to drive anything else unless I go to the track :)
I am running RPM arms and knuckles now, FT steering kit and turnbuckles as well. I still think the truck is tought tho... arms break on any truck... unless you fit them with RPM's :)
Sounds like its a great truck. Guess I'll have to wait for a while though. I traded some parts that I got for free off of my truck for a Revo. Put the 3.3 out of my Jato and it seems like it'll keep me happy for awhile. 8.0 is next on my list though. You still have the bets 8.0 vid and deffinitely the best music of any vid!

I have added tougher stuff here and there but the truck stock is still a mean mo-fo. The bumpers really work well as does just about all the new stuff... and then there is that engine... ye m'f'n ha! LOL
