mal rose drove one of those cars at nurburgring a few years ago. the one seen in this video is a 2006 VZ HRT commdore, the one mal drove was a 1999 VT Castrol commdore, so the cars are pretty simular. it would take a while to find the right setup for nurburgring though.

the real days of ATCC was the group C days, the Group A regulations were just all bullshit, they were on the side of turbocharged cars in those days, such as the skyline, and the sierra. weight penaltys didnt slow the sierras and nissans down, but somehow they managed to slow the commodore. they should have allowed the commodores to have a bit of forced induction and increase the capacity for a higher Power output, therefore, increasing the performance.

mal rose drove one of those cars at nurburgring a few years ago. the one seen in this video is a 2006 VZ HRT commdore, the one mal drove was a 1999 VT Castrol commdore, so the cars are pretty simular. it would take a while to find the right setup for nurburgring though.
