  • He's called BB King for a reason.

  • He is Absolutely true talent:)

  • Incredible, if that isn't feeling the music I don't know what is... You just need to look at his face while he plays! Passion at its highest.

  • What a legend...no words really

  • Cool Guitar Cool Voice = COOL!

  • i think he cant play and sing at the same time but when he plays its so dam awesome! <3 ich want to play guitar like this guy

  • @oOderTypOo It's not that he CAN'T play them at the same time, it's just that his philosophy was to either give 100% to playing lucille or giving 100% to singing.

  • @DanteWolfwood yea i think your right man =)

  • Merci!

  • anyone who claims to understand bb king must at least once in his life have said the words........hold on.... i think my love is changing.............if not ...dont trust the person.

  • That vibrato is beautiful

  • i want to know why i cant find the original hit i love this song

  • BB is the king of the blues.you can see him feeling every note in his facial expressions,an inspiration to guitar players and still playing live at his age..amazing!

  • I saw him last night in Manchester, wished he played this, still easily the best show i have been to.

  • This is a bona fide classic - just needs a volume boost ! . I think it's his best ever song/performance - and he has one of the great back catalogues - check out "the thrill is gone" from the same era.. Just watched BB at this years Glasto and he can still cut it - although the fire is beginning to dim. Catch him while you still can.

  • What a voice!

  • what album is this song off?

  • @scouselad1991 the names album is lucille talks back of 1975

  • Gotta love the wrong notes at the beginning. It gives off a sense of authenticity. B.B. King has always been my favourite blues player.

  • BB did this song with the Crusaders live with a full orchestra. This version is good, but that version is great.

  • beautiful blues

  • genuinely my favourite song of all time, and I like almost every genre. Bob Dylan to Jeff Buckley, Son House to 50 Cent, Al Green to Arctic Monkeys, but this song by B.B certainly tops them all.

  • Its so fucking perfect that hurts.. *-*

  • I recall being at many of these '70s OGWT sessions because a friend of mine was a technician at the time in the studio. It was a great era when so many fine acts passed throught the studio. This session together with Freddie King & Lowell George were superb. Thank you for the film clip.

  • Yngwie Malmsteen once said the blues is easy to master, You can never master such an Open, amazing genre, and id like to see "Arpeggios From Hell" capture feeling and memories which this does

  • @JoeFarmerFarndonJr Yes, i've read that also..my opinion is that shredders may master the three chord sequence but the FEEL is more important in any music.

It's all cold, neo-classical ramblings with them. Clever but tedious after 5 mins. If we check any ACCURATE '100 Best Guitarists' polls it's always the BLUES players that come out on top...even Hendrix . The shredders come way below.

Joe Walsh said that Albert King could melt Van Halen with his amp on STANDBY>

  • @JoeFarmerFarndonJr ; Whingy is a fat drunk ....

  • This is just beautiful BB it's emotionally beautiful

  • Absolutely emotive - truly one of the greats.

  • groso.....

  • watching this now on bbc 4

  • this is why i love bbc 4

  • easily one of the greatest sings created in my books, and such an amazing performance by such an amazing man.

  • Look at him, he dosent even open his eyes. Hes at one with Lucille....Brilliant.

  • At 26 years old, I think i was born in the wrong generation. There is nobody around today who can perform like this! Just look at him! He dosent even open his eyes!! Hes putting his heart and soul into it!! His voice is beautiful and he plays the guitar like an absolute dream! Hes at one with Lucille! Brilliant!!!!

  • The way each chorus runs into a little guitar piece is just sublime.

  • amazing vocals and playing you just feel that its music hes making not money

  • One note is all you need if it's the right note, played with soul.

  • why doesnt this have 987,678,956,753,757,487,598,679,683,567,324 views

  • @ROBDAROKA17 those goddamn ants wont watch youtube

  • one the finest songs ever. great!

  • Amazing....

  • If I become 1/1000th of the guitarist that this guy is, and 1/1000th the singer, Ill easily be the best of this generation.

  • feck it

  • That is the best guitar tone I've heard in my entire life, his voice has got a really deep beautiful quality too.

  • Long Live BB KIng !!!!
