not sure about this video but Dwight Yoakam lends his vocals to sing backup on this song in the album. he also does a great version solo. i love it just as much as hers and Buck Owens'
@RunescapeHelpization ...Well, I don't think "they" did any permanent damage to the tune. Why not listen to a version of "Heartaches by the Number" that is up to your standards and then post a pleasant comment instead of a crude souring remark ?
This woman is FANTASTIC! Besides wanting to fall in love with her, I love her song-styling. She really knows how to interpret this song! She makes reliving my pain sort of joyful, joyful tears.
A classic well executed by Martina, enjoyed that big clean sound from Paul on his Franklin, notice Gordon Mote on the piano too, now there is a guy with talent, plays a mean piano and has a super voice!
Martina is great it's a shame that y can;t find this in my country netherlands maby next year i go for a trip in the states route 66 with my girlfriend to all the music-bars and halls with a chevy i like johnny cash and elvis also i love them.
This is so sad, when I was a broken heart pal. Thanks for the Uploading, reminding me when I was broken and I could not mend, but what a blessing for my life. Life must go on.
Great post! I really like this, and I love when Martina DOESN'T use her pipes at full volume. She has the best pipes in country music but I love when see settles in a little like Faith Hill. :)
Ray Price has tops on this song.. original is always the best.. and ya cant beat Ray Price.... but Martina... is in a class of her own... as far as female singers go..she will be the GREATEST ever... she certainly does the Great Ray Price proud on this song..
yes, i think Ray Price did "Heartaches by the number" best, but as you can see to the right, Guy Mitchell did it originaly, so " Original" is not all ways the best
there is one on youtube. Just type in martina mcbride and it should be on the first or second page. It's called Martina McBride-Music Fest or somethin along those lines. Doesnt really give where would u be in the title.
im not feeling it, but its okay i like guy mitchell way better
