not that i was particularly a big bush fan but he was right... he didn't cut student loans he cut out a loop hole where scamers were sighning up for school, getting grants and dropping out the next day... sadly the scamers were litteraly taking more money the ppl ligitamantly useing it.  for this reason he decreased the money used while at the same time making more available to actual students. oboma already broke it again.

@SporeSquire Not true. Bush and the Republicans in 2005 cut 12 billion in student loans accross the board... There were already provisions for "scammers" Because of Bush's budget, student loan interest rates went up massively and the average student had to pay around 6,000 more to pay off a 4 year tuition. But hey rich people payed less taxes and Halliburton got all of their money so it all worked out!
