@LMarshall32 Thanks! Chiappa makes a similar magazine that is the same length as a standard AR15 mag. I did a video on those a while back.

Do these mags work with the bolt catch and new last round BHO that cmmg promised?

@WesMerc Not sure. My conversion is the stock ceiner style. I've heard of the newer kits that will work the bolt hold open but have yet to try one out. This mag works like all the rest, holds the bolt open till you remove the mag.

Great review. Ruger 22/45 magazines have those same sweet little buttons on the side that allow you to pull the follower down as you load - it's one of those things you never thought you'd want till you used it. :)

@TheLateBoyScout You need one of these (Midway P/N 523189) for your Ruger. I saw one while I was shooting the Steel Challenge in Piru a few years back. You'll shoot much more 22 in your pistol than you ever had before! I use it on my Bowning BuckMark. Its great!

I'll keep a look out for these when i get a 22 conversion for my build. My lower parts are FINALLY instate, upper, barrel, and BCG still sitting at Surplus ammo, gas tube is in transit, and still need a little more than 100 bucks of parts to complete

I foresee my upper, BCG, and barrel arrive by newyears, and the other parts i can probably get at a local shop, i mean its only the handgaurds, the BCM gunfighter charging handle, flash suppressor, swivel pin and swivel, and the delta ring. Friend of mine in Nevada is sending me a spare carry handle and that saved me a bunch

The Remington 22lr gold bullets don`t work very well. I bought 2 100 packs of them and have had so many misfires. Use cci standard, they always work =) Nice video btw
