I Liked the music, but come on my chevy aveo could have made this trek EASILY. Off roading in the same since as my drive way is "off roading" or atleast off the road! That said I really like the patriot, and the 2011's have more plastic on the bumpers...more scratch resistant.
@Renegade30 I would advice to look for Freedom Drive II (or Trail Rated) Patriot, as Freedom Drive I (non Trail Rated) Patriot lack several things you will need. Anyway, I have no experience on sand dunes, but you can find all the info on Jeep Patriot forum
I have a 2008 Trail Rated Patriot and I got the Trail Rated for mainly bad road conditions (snow) and the very bad roads in Baltimore where I work (aka Ghettobahn).
rofl when ur in a tight sqweez and ur inches from the edge between a lake and a fast river it can get pretty creepy...lol my dad was driving with his buddy and like a uncle to me......lol........ohh the ford explorer dose good lol.....the sucky thing was when we got to the end of the dirt road there used to be a bridge there.....there isent any more.....the river must have taken it down or they took it down......still that sucked....found a place to turn around thowe.....i love offroading
Thanks for viewing! Actually, I do not have that many scratches, trying to be extra careful, but the snow is the killer, as you can see from some other videos I posted. Hopefully, somebody will produce aftermarket locker for Patriot's rear diff... that would be a must-buy for me.

Was looking at 2008 patriot, are these cars any good for off road sand dune environments?
