Thank a lot for uploading. A best ever all around artist we had. I feel sad as we forgot to respect him and to show our gratitude when he wanted us, who entertained the entire nation.
I agree with rasitha15, this song sounds so good with the mridangam drum as opposed to the keyboard "tin kotana" remix of today. I am amazed that most people in Sri Lanka do not really seem to care--I for one feel like getting out of the bus and running across the road when they play Jothipala's lovely songs, only remixed and massacred!
Awesome! Really loved the old version since the old days. Haven't been able to track it down since sunflower and all the crappy takku tukutu bands remixed and released on top of original songs almost killing the original feeling. That happened to many nice old songs in Sri Lanka.
Glad to hear this again! Thanks a lot! High Five!!!
thanks very much for your great comment rasitha. I totally agree with you. In the olden days the music was composed with a great orchestra to back up than nowadays. So everyone performed really well and the quality of music was great. Nowadays we have very high quality recording techniques but cannot say the same about the music.
