I am a Christian, and i certainly believe no religious person should be in office, yes, they should have some sort of faith, but it should not blind them to the needs of all faiths and cultures. Hence, secular government at its finest. But as we've all seen, many DEMOCRATIC countries, not just America, have leaders with religious ties. Although, ours are more pronounced and use it for big popularity points then to honestly be a Christian or a Jew.
