At then end of the day, if your not having fun OR winning then stop counting and just play at $1 tables for FUN. If not, then why the heck gamble?

He's just keeping track of aces? hmmm. I dunno about this. I used the hi/lo system. Actually WE (three of us) used hi/lo. Counting does work, but you have really put out some serious effort to make it happen.

Card Counting does work. I was banned from Bally's, Mirage, Caeser's and the Hilton in 1990 for card counting. The only way to win big is to bet big. The secret is having a sizeable bankroll to sustain the losses, but in the long run if you count cards you will win.

Is impossible to a person counting 8 deks dude, if youre saying counting on just one deck is easy but really in Vegas there are 8 decks and like the movie you really need partners to help you counting or in the book "Beat the dealer" its counting but with stadistic and it doesnt will function everytime. lmao ur not counting the decks, ur counting card by card. in a 1 deck shoe if u go a +4 u can bet good, if it's a 4 deck a +16 is kickass, 8 deck bet high at +20-30.
Exactly. Also manage yourself and emotions. I love to play and count. I sit back at a table with two empty seats so I can jump in when the count is good. I found that to be much more profitable.

The most important thing in Blackjack is not card counting but winning at your big bets/double downs and knowing when to quit. You can be winning most of your hands but still loose money if you don't when your big bets.
Good point too. Also I find that if you want to win $200 you need to bet kind of large, like $15 - $25 minimum bet. It is very difficult to win $200 by betting $10 all night long. So many people do that.
Well it depends. The system I created is have a minimum bet of lets say $15. If I win, then I bet $15 again. If I lose, I double my bet, if I lose again, I double my bet again, but then if I win, I start over and bet $15. What this means is everytime I win I get a profit of $15 no matter how many times I lost. Ex: Bet $15, lose, bet $30, lose, bet $60, win. -15 -30 +60 = +15.
The problem is if you lose let's say 6 times in a row, then you're down about a grand and there's always table limits :(
That method does not work very well. I've tried it. The problem is you are betting alot of money only to get back loses thus putting you in the green only a small amount. Then when you are up you start betting low again. If you are interested I can share by betting method.
I go to the table with $200 which I divide into hands of $20. That represents 10 total hands. I start by betting $20. If I loose I just bet another $20. If I win that I put $40 off to the side and bet another $20. At a later time I play those $40 hands when I feel wins coming on. So the whole point of my method is to bet aggressive with my winnings. If at anytime the deck gets cold I go back to betting minimum.

Good intentions but u should have rather explained Ace-5 count. With Aces only count, one would need to constantly look at the discards and guestimate if aces are overdue or not. With A-5 count, u just say in your head +1 everytime u see 5 and -1 everytime u see A. Say u see four 5s and 2 aces , then your count is +2 (2 A`s overdue) and u`d bet more the next hand. Aces are the best cards for players, 5s are the best for the house.
Overdue aces depend upon the number of decks delt to the number of aces delt. Ex. 1 deck has been exhausted from a six deck shoe and 2 aces have been shown. U are now 2 aces heavy, which is good. If anyone is serious about making money at blackjack, they should read Million Dollar Blackjack by Ken Uston.
I work in casino surveillance, and yea finally one guy who tells people not to keep count on there chips. This is a dead give away. But usually in most cases even if you are doing a full Hi-Lo count, the casino usually won't stop your play in a 6-8 deck games as most casino personal thinks it is nearly impossible to beat a shoe, which it isn't really, And especially if you don't take very much say $200-$1000, As casino's will lose more money with constant shuffle up's and sucker players leaving
we have been gettin some counters at our casino, they do bet with the count, we never backed a player off though, but if they did up there bet to maby 1k a hand, or more then we might, i never count though, i just play basic and save my winnings to play more nxt time
Not only do most casinos use a minimum of 4,5 decks, but most use an automatic shuffler instead of the shoe. That means that they have that many decks being shuffled at all times. That makes card counting a thing of the past.
For all of you who play online poker but don't use rakeback, realize that you have a huuuge leak. Each month you can be getting a portion of all the rake taken from the pots you were DEALT in. Thats right you don't even need to be involved in the hand. Just be dealt in and fold.... Siick eh?
hehe played this with a bunch of friends just now. was losing by 20bucks then i got blackjack twice in a row, then later a double ace which reaped 3times my bet, and then i kept getting 19 and 20 for awhile. i won $5 from the entire game !
th ebest is the zen count for me.. 3 player game sitting in the 3rd seat (last seat). 6 deck game. 1 burning at begginning of shuffle. dealer stands at 17. Its easy to get 30% of your buy in from the first two games (raising ^ lowering betting of course.)even if you dont follow exactly basic strategy.
In California the dealers have a auto shuffling machine instead of a shoe. So every time a hand is played, it is dropped in the machine and constantly shuffled. How can you count those than? I do not know how many decks they use.

okay, makes sense...if its just you and the dealer. But lets say theres 5 of you at the table and you're dealt last. By the time your bet is up and you're dealt, the true count could have changed drastically! So I dont get how it helps unless maybe you're dealt first...

Card Counting does work. I was banned from Bally's, Mirage, Caeser's and the Hilton in 1990 for card counting. The only way to win big is to bet big. The secret is having a sizeable bankroll to sustain the losses, but in the long run if you count cards you will win.

Let's get a couple of things straight, first if you don't use basic strategy you will lose, second if you can't count card you will lose, third if you don't properly manage your banlroll you will loes. It takes a combination of those three things to win at Blackjack. Period!

if the dealer has a 7 and u got 15 and u got only basic strategy u don't hit, but if you know te deck is cold u will proly hit and get a 17-21 NOW you win almost 4 shure. it's all about makeng the odds as much as possible on your favor. i can ashure you you will sometimes double with a 10 with a hot deck get a 20 and the dealer will hit a 21 with low cards. if that happens twice your bet next round cuz the count will have not changed very much so you still got the upper hand.

Is impossible to a person counting 8 deks dude, if youre saying counting on just one deck is easy but really in Vegas there are 8 decks and like the movie you really need partners to help you counting or in the book "Beat the dealer" its counting but with stadistic and it doesnt will function everytime. lmao ur not counting the decks, ur counting card by card. in a 1 deck shoe if u go a +4 u can bet good, if it's a 4 deck a +16 is kickass, 8 deck bet high at +20-30.

The most important thing in Blackjack is not card counting but winning at your big bets/double downs and knowing when to quit. You can be winning most of your hands but still loose money if you don't when your big bets.

Good point too. Also I find that if you want to win $200 you need to bet kind of large, like $15 - $25 minimum bet. It is very difficult to win $200 by betting $10 all night long. So many people do that.

Well it depends. The system I created is have a minimum bet of lets say $15. If I win, then I bet $15 again. If I lose, I double my bet, if I lose again, I double my bet again, but then if I win, I start over and bet $15. What this means is everytime I win I get a profit of $15 no matter how many times I lost. Ex: Bet $15, lose, bet $30, lose, bet $60, win. -15 -30 +60 = +15.
The problem is if you lose let's say 6 times in a row, then you're down about a grand and there's always table limits :(

That method does not work very well. I've tried it. The problem is you are betting alot of money only to get back loses thus putting you in the green only a small amount. Then when you are up you start betting low again. If you are interested I can share by betting method.

I go to the table with $200 which I divide into hands of $20. That represents 10 total hands. I start by betting $20. If I loose I just bet another $20. If I win that I put $40 off to the side and bet another $20. At a later time I play those $40 hands when I feel wins coming on. So the whole point of my method is to bet aggressive with my winnings. If at anytime the deck gets cold I go back to betting minimum.

Good intentions but u should have rather explained Ace-5 count. With Aces only count, one would need to constantly look at the discards and guestimate if aces are overdue or not. With A-5 count, u just say in your head +1 everytime u see 5 and -1 everytime u see A. Say u see four 5s and 2 aces , then your count is +2 (2 A`s overdue) and u`d bet more the next hand. Aces are the best cards for players, 5s are the best for the house.

Overdue aces depend upon the number of decks delt to the number of aces delt. Ex. 1 deck has been exhausted from a six deck shoe and 2 aces have been shown. U are now 2 aces heavy, which is good. If anyone is serious about making money at blackjack, they should read Million Dollar Blackjack by Ken Uston.

I work in casino surveillance, and yea finally one guy who tells people not to keep count on there chips. This is a dead give away. But usually in most cases even if you are doing a full Hi-Lo count, the casino usually won't stop your play in a 6-8 deck games as most casino personal thinks it is nearly impossible to beat a shoe, which it isn't really, And especially if you don't take very much say $200-$1000, As casino's will lose more money with constant shuffle up's and sucker players leaving

Not only do most casinos use a minimum of 4,5 decks, but most use an automatic shuffler instead of the shoe. That means that they have that many decks being shuffled at all times. That makes card counting a thing of the past.

th ebest is the zen count for me.. 3 player game sitting in the 3rd seat (last seat). 6 deck game. 1 burning at begginning of shuffle. dealer stands at 17. Its easy to get 30% of your buy in from the first two games (raising ^ lowering betting of course.)even if you dont follow exactly basic strategy.

In California the dealers have a auto shuffling machine instead of a shoe. So every time a hand is played, it is dropped in the machine and constantly shuffled. How can you count those than? I do not know how many decks they use.
